My sister got married here a few years ago. The staff were fantastic & well organised. The rooms were very clean and tidy. I would recommend anyone to this place. Its run by great staff and they will take care of you πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ

I was booked into this hotel by my employer as it is local to where I was to visit the next day. I had visited previously but only to meet a colleague and did not stay on that occasion. On arrival, I was greeted by a pleasant young member of staff who signed me in and asked me to fill... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The rooms are basic and would benefit from a refurb. Lighting was very poor in the room, you'd probably even struggle to read a book. Floor boards were so creaky, not just in the room but in the hallway which meant I had an almost sleepless night. The toilet seat didn't fit... More

The building it in such a bad state of repair cracks, damaged walls, plaster falling off and general disrepair. The coffee oh my god the coffee. ...even though it is a fancy bean to cup machine it is foul.....I mean... More

We have just returned from a 4 day stay at this Hotel. Our check in was friendly and efficient and the room was very acceptable with more than adequate supplies of tea, coffee etc, and Wifi in all rooms. The breakfasts were cooked to order and there was a lage bowl of fresh fruit, fruit juices and cereals. The bar... More

We ate here as a table of 4 for their 'Christmas Fayre' dinner.I called in earlier in the week to give our menu choices and to pay a deposit of Β£5 per person. When we arrived I told the man behind the bar we had a reservation. He told us to go to table number 32! We sat there for... More

First impressions are important would you agree? Arrived in the car park with plenty of room, Great A look at the exterior as we off loaded the bags was ok Nice Old Building with Character. Entered into the bar area we were informed that the reception area was further down on the left. The young woman was friendly but the... More

Got to say that other than the young girl behind the bar I felt totally unwelcome. Owner/ Manageress not interested in any conversation so gave up . Not looking for a deep discussion but at least show a modicum of interest. Room ok but no light in the corridor which made it a problem getting the key in the lock.... More

Having been coming to this establishment for 20 years, I am saddened by the dreadful state in which this once tremendous place has fallen. Time was on a Sunday afternoon, you were lucky if you could have parked in the overflow car park, because it was so busy. Now only the staff cars are present 90% of the time. Firstly... More
