Our family get together (10 of us) was held at the Verdin and we had a wonderful evening. The two youngest in our group aged 5 and 7 are picky eaters but Shaun was happy to cook their favourites for them even though it wasn't on the menu. Food was excellent , service great. Can't fault it!

What a find ...... nothing is too much trouble for Shaun and the team that run this fine establishment! If you are looking for a relaxed friendly, home-from-home pub, which gives value for money (AND with Fudge to die for too), you will be pleased as punch, as we were, when we happened upon The Verdin Arms! Great food too!... More

We did not stay here as we live close by. We have been for meals often since the new owner took it over. It suffered before due to poor staff and service but now serves great food with really good service.

Shaun made us feel very welcome at the hotel. The breakfast is great and the evening meals are extremely good. The female chef is a talent especially with desserts and her homemade fudge is fantastic. Shaun the owner is attentive and welcoming and very funny; he looks and acts like Peter Kaye. Worth a visit and very reasonable.

First had a meal at the Verdin Arms in December 2012 when it had just been taken over by new management and found the food and service to be excellent. As a result we booked a family room for two nights for my daughter, son in law and granddaughter who were visiting us at the nearby Aqueduct Marina. They had... More

As others have said this place is now under new management and it shows. It is now a clean, tidy and welcoming pub/restaurant. The main menu is varied, the desserts are to die for and the roast beef Sunday lunch has to be one of the best around. Good luck to Shaun the licensee (and chef) and to his assistant... More

4 of us went for sunday lunch, the staff are very friendly and are being trained by Sam who is a lovely warm person who aims to please at all times. The roast that we had was excellent, the pudding devine, and the wine very pallatable. Good luck to the new landlord and his staff will be going again. Unfortunately... More
