Have stayed in this hotel for the weekend and really liked it. The staff very friendly and welcoming. The room ( we had the superior room) absolutely massive. Their gym and swimming pool is lovely as well. Rooms are very tidy. This is our second visit to the village group hotels. Previously we have stayed in Ashton Moss Village hotel... more

We stayed at the Village in Hyde to attend a wedding in nearby Dukinfield. From first appearances, it looked very smart and had been newly refurbished in stylish creams, beiges and browns. We had to wait a little bit at reception to check in and check out again, and the receptionists did not seem all that professional. However, they were... more

Stayed here a few times and I've not been dissappointed yet. Always made to feel welcome, food can be a bit slow in the restaurant at peak times but good quality. New menu is very Italian. Pub food good too. Rooms had 42 inch tvs this visit and some of the hotel appears to be refurbished (lesiure and pub). There's... more

I stayed at this hotel while attending an event in nearby Dukinfield. I stayed in a twin room with a friend. The room was clean and spacious. It had tea & coffee making facilities, although not the iPod doc that was advertised on the website! The bathroom had a bath, and shower which was powerful and relaxing. The check-in staff... more

Arrived on a Friday evening before Christmas with a number of drunken partygoers outside and in the lobby area making it a little intimidating for a family with young children. Check-in was efficient but unfriendly, I don't think she was enjoying her job! But after this shaky start things improved, the restaurant staff were very helpful and understanding of our... more

If I'd stayed here outside of the weekend I would have marked this as excellent. However on a Friday night this hotels attracts all that is bad about British Youth. Loud parties where noise invades the bedrooms. Aircom carrying the masses of smoke coming from the dancehall and drunks in reception. Very Good except Friday and Saturday! more
