Stayed for one night as I wanted to stay in crew rather than Liverpool. Railway station is a one minute walk away which is perfect Very accommodating as we had two dogs. Clean room, great breakfast. Polite staff. Great value. We will use again

Stayed at The Waverley for a business trip to Crewe, it was welcoming, efficient, clean, warm, everything worked fine. Breakfast fine, very good scrambled egg. Only issue is the noise from adjacent rooms, but this was not in any way excessive, my grand children make more noise at home! I'll be back when next I visit Crewe to carry on... More

My work takes me away from home several nights per week and I have been staying at the Waverley since last February. I could stay in one of the well known chains but choose here for good reasons. The rooms are always clean and warm, the food is fresh and good value and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.... More

This is a budget hotel in style and decor, with the rooms being quite old-fashioned but clean and adequate. It's just a short walk from the railway station so it's handy for a pre-travel stay. It seems to be used by a lot of contractors. Our first stay was better than our second and I'm not sure I'd stay a... More

Stayed here for 2 nights over new year. Me and my partner really enjoyed our nice clean comfy room and great breakfast in the morning. We stayed for the disco on the New Year's Eve and also had a great time. Thoroughly enjoyed and would stay again.

Tired, dated hotel. Pretty grim to be honest. £49.50 for one nights stay. Kettle/ Tea and coffee facilities very basic in the room. There was ample space in the car park and it is a great location for getting to the train station (2 min walk), but grim.

A truly horrible hotel, dirty and old fashioned and any rooms that are not booked are filled with social services people. This causes all sorts of problems which the staff are unable to deal with. Tired and old decor, beds are terrible and the whole hotel has a strange and unpleasant smell, black mould in the showers and the carpets... More

This review is a fabrication from start to finish, the heading makes me wonder if this is an advert for the Hunters Lodge hotel and a blatant attempt to make our hotel out to be the most odious place in Crewe, and at the same time promote Hunters Lodge. We have a policy not to take DSS people and there... More

Nice old world style English hotel. No airs and graces just a good little hotel. Centrally located, quiet and comfortable room. Coffee and tea provided. Furniture getting to be old now. Bed and pillows on the hard side. Good hearty Full English breakfast in the price with cereals etc. availlable Would stay again

This is a family run hotel and offers a pleasant stay and excellent food! On arrival we found our room was on the first floor but we were offered an alternative on the ground floor (since we are quite advanced in years) and this was gratefully accepted. Now this was a family room with bunk beds and a double bed... More

Didn't much enjoy my stay here. The staff aren't that friendly or welcoming. It took a good 5min before anyone came to desk, they where all in the kitchen. The room very small for a double. The corridor and layout made me think I was in a claustrophobic box.
