My husband and I have just returned from a one night stay at Wychwood Park, and the main reason for our visit was to play golf. From checking in to leaving the following day, all the staff at both the hotel, golf club and clubhouse were so pleasant and helpful, and went out of their way to assist. The golf... more

.We are a family of 3 ( 2 adults and one child - aged 13). We decided to book this hotel for 4 nights before spending more holiday in the Lake District. Hotel - Situated amidst Cheshire Countryside and being surrounded by a golf course. Excellent location for further travel - Chester, and a few National Trust and English Heritage... more

My husband and I stayed here over the May bank holiday weekend, with brother in law and his girlfriend, to visit family in the area. Hotel was very quiet when we arrived and we checked in quickly. Our room was fine, overlooking the terrace and the rabbits playing there! Brother in law had slight problem with their room - crumbs... more

However I wouldn't recommend it for a family holiday unless you are all into Golf, there is no pool or any nearby facilities to enjoy. (you would have to travel into Chester 20 miles away) This hotel really caters... more

We stayed overnight on Valentines day with 3 small children. Firstly we found the service to be excellent, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were pretty much like every other hotel room, very clean, comfy bed and big fluffy towels. A nice range of shower gel and soap provided. Also as a bonus all the rooms had... more

The room was really nice with en-suite bathroom, tv, balcony etc. There is also free tea and coffee etc down in the lobby area. (Also free internet!!). The bar area had the... more

From check in to check out, everything was spot on! The bonus was the free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in reception. I have never seen this before in many of... more
