Cheap it certainly is and you definitely get what you pay for. Rude, unfriendly reception staff, corridors with no lighting (health & safety issue surely), dirty mirrors, broken plug sockets, sticky light switches, dirty bathroom floor, filthy curtains, I could go on but won't. For a hotel with 3-star AA rating I had hoped that it would be reasonable. The room size was but! It is next to the Crewe rail station and the noise of the station announcements preceded the noisy arrival of each passenger train.
