Just want to say what a fantastic weekend we had last week when we stayed here. We received a fabulous welcome from Max on Reception. The food was delicious and even though the Brasserie was very busy, our waiter Joseph was very attentive. The room was amazing. We stayed in the old part of the hotel and it was very... More

The annexe to the hotel where the majority of bedroom are looks like a municipal swimming bath. The bar was so noisy we couldn't hear to speak. We had to change our room and were given a more modern room but the fridge didn't seem to work. The Aircon was efficient and the breakfast in what looked like a canteen... More

Had 2 nights here as part of a hen do. Place is lovely, pool area very busy and not as posh as expected given the surroundings. Very few sun loungers. Food was amazing we had breakfast, lunch and dinner included each day. Rooms were nice but no fridge and whilst we were there no air conditioning - were offered a... More

This a wonderful venue where I was fortunate enough to attend a wedding. We opted to stay over in what I think was called a King Room. The room was luxurious, clean with a ginormous comfortable bed. Buffet style breakfast in the morning was a nice treat. The actual wedding itself was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful and... More

My son and I used Crewe Hall for two nights as a base for golf at Wychwood Park on the first day and a trip to The Open golf championship the next day. At first sight, the old building is an impressive pile with an amazing interior full of ornate woodwork and plasterwork. Our room was in the new building,... More

Brief but very pleasant stay, the surroundings are beautiful, trees and greenery everywhere. The hotel has great architecture, woodwork and elegance. The hotel was recommended by the business i was visiting and it was a great choice, very quiet.

I recently stayed over night at crewe hall as I was visiting crewe for a function. Firstly it's is well signed from the M6 , no problem with spotting the entrance by car. On first impressions as I arrived on the drive way to the main hall I was very impressed with the surroundings, a very grand entrance through large... More

Beautiful hotel in a wonderful old building full of character. The new part of the hotel is ok, but dies more resemble a travel lodge. That said the gardens and facilities are first rate, with a great gym, useful swimming pool and great spaces to sit, drink and relax in. The only let down was the food. Bit bland and... More

The original old hall is a beautiful building with character and charm, check in was quick and efficient although one of our group rooms was not ready until after 5.00pm. Most rooms seem to be in the new build which can best be described as a soulless characterless building designed by supermarket planners. The bedroom room was nice enough a... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A superb 17th century hotel located in Crewe in Cheshire. This Grade I listed building has been attracting refined guests since the 17th century, including our current monarch Queen Elizabeth II. This hotel is a fine mix of historic Jacobean and sharp 21st century architecture. The magnificent history oozes throughout the hotel from exquisite marble fireplaces to stained glass windows. Yet the contemporary edge of Crewe Hall can be found throughout the hotel from the revolving bar in the brasserie to the state-of-the-art leisure club. The hotel has 117 spacious, comfortable bedrooms, some are located in the historic old building but majority can be found in the new contemporary wing. Just minutes from the M6 motorway, Crewe Hall is only 24 miles from Chester’s sights and shops and close to Liverpool and Manchester.Crewe Hall is home to a modern conference and events centre. It is very impressive with both it's facilities and service that we offer you.
