As I frequently stay in travelodges I know the quality varies, which is fine for a very cheap overnight stay. We stayed here as it was within close proximity to Alton Towers, but this was probably not worth it! There was pubic hair over the toilet and in the shower. There were little bugs in the room and the sheets... More

Stayed to break a long journey home. Had a family room as no twin rooms were available but was surprised how comfortable the extra bed was. The room was basic with no hairdryer, but tea/coffee etc supplied. Plenty of hot water for showers. The location was very quiet too though it was close to the motorway. The receptionist was very... Located just off the M6 at Jct 16, this was a pleasant surprise for an overnight stop. Although it is located in a service area, it is not signed from the Motorway and it is also set back from it so doesn't suffer with traffic noise. This is clearly one of Travelodge's older hotels, and is arranged on one level... More

This is situated on a Service are off the M6. Very quite location. It does however need refurbishing and replacement of beds ( not the most comfortable) but adequate for a nights stay.Mould around shower unit. Carpets need replacing.

Having stayed at a few different travelodges recently, I can see the difference between those that have been refurbished and others that haven't. Unfortunately this one hasn't and it shows. I maybe wrong but it seems no upkeep or general repairs are being made until it is their turn to be refurbished. That being said this Travelodge was clean and... More

Just of J16 M6. This quiet little lodge is hidden behind the shell station. I was a late arrival and staff were friendly and understanding. Room was clean and tidy, and secondary double glaxing made them very quiet. It seems much quieter than the other lodge at stoke just along the A500. I'd stay here again.

So far this year I have stayed at 4 different Travel Lodge within the UK which seem to vary in service, standards and cleanliness. Fair enough they are budget type accommodation and in general you get what you pay for. In general my overall experience at this travel lodge was very good. Friendly staff which is always nice when you... More

I would not stay here again. After eventually finding it as the postcode did not give correct directions on a very modern SatNav, the room smelled, the shower was faulty and the TV and remote did not work! The outside of the hotel is not welcoming, it looks very tatty. Next time I am visiting my son at Uni I... More

I was searching for a decent place to stay but no frills with ensuite facilities. Travelodge delivered. The room was clean, a good size and on a cold day warm. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptional value for money when compared to other hotels providing a similar offering in the area. I would definitely... More
