Well overdue review of the Alderley edge hotel as a wedding venue. Can't recommend them highly enough. Very competitve package especially if you are having a smaller wedding, ours was 80 people. From the very start the process was very easy with excellent communication throughout. Weddings are stressfull enough so having a reliable venue with staff that could handle any... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night to attend a wedding nearby. Lovely area of the UK. The high street is 5 minutes walk away where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops. Staff were very friendly. We arrived early and they made their best attempt to get us into a room before the usual check-in... More

First let me put in the positives: - the staff were extremely helpful and when we called them stuck on the m6, they efficiently arranged a taxi to take us to a wedding nearby. - the rooms were very clean. - tasty breakfast -bed was comfy if a very snug double Now the negatives - we were unable to check... Our daughter got married there last weekend, and we stayed for two nights. From reception to the cleaners the staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. But I must give a special mention to the wedding co-ordinator Hannah who did an outstanding job and the bar staff in the function room in the evening whose service was outstanding and humorous. Great... More

I totally agree with your last reviewer I was apprehensive after reading previous reviews having booked a Tatton Park package . However found a lovely clean hotel with very, very pleasant staff who could not be faulted. The staff excelled in every department with cheery greetings without being over the top.The food in both the brassiere and breakfast was excellent.... More

Do not be put off by previews reviews the Alderley Edge hotel is an immaculate friendly hotel. We stayed in room 42 last night and having read recent reviews I was a little apprehensive about my booking. On arrival we were welcomed by the reception staff. The room was a very clean adequate sized double. Breakfast was lovely.

We stayed here as part of a wedding package, and despite a lovely wedding reception the night before (it was truly excellent), we were very disappointed by the hotel itself - to the point we wished we had booked the travel lodge round the corner! This is a £150/night hotel (PLUS £17.50 for breakfast) at rack rate, and my review... More

Have used this hotel for several business meetings and also attended a couple of weddings. Stayed here in May for a friends big birthday bash at a local restuarant. The room was small but nice and clean and fresh. For a hotel of it's stature you would have expected breakfast to order as with other similar type hotels in Cheshire.... More

This is a good place to stay if you have a flight the next day out of the Manchester Airport in England. There is a good restaurant and the hotel is located in a quiet suburb within a half hour of the airport. The service is friendly. There is no air conditioning and it can get quite warm in the... Visited the hotel at the weekend and paid £145.00 for the Superior room. The web site stated there would a mini bar and complimentary bowl of fruit, there were none. The room overlooked the waste bins, which you would not expect from a Superior room. There was a droning noise all evening which finally disappeared only to return at 7am.... More
