We booked the hotel on booking.com for the Rewind music festival at Capesthorne Hall. The price for 2 nights bed & breakfast was a little high for the quality of room and breakfast. The room on floor 2 was tired and in need of upgrade and noise from other rooms as thin walls. Breakfast was split, buffet/self service on the... More

We stayed one night while travelling through Cheshire visiting friends. We booked a Superior Room and requested one facing the garden. We were allocated the 'Tabley' on the second floor (lift available) and could indeed see part of the attractive gardens. The bathroom was spacious and well fitted, while the bedroom was comfortable though not huge. The whole hotel seems... More

Me and my two friends/colleagues stayed here for some leaving drinks in Alderley Edge. We had a really comfortable stay for a good price. Hotel is lovely and grand on arriving outside and plenty of parking. Rooms were gorgeous, I was in 14 and it was extremely clean and had lovely shabby chic decor. Also had everything you need iron,... More

We booked late and when we did we only had one option; to have the Presidential Suite. OMG how pleased was I; the size of the room was amazing. Huge comfortable bed, massive bathroom, separate lounge. All immaculately clean. The staff are very friendly; we will be back.

Great hotel but restaurant not such good value for money. Staff were excellent and the rooms, although small, were well presented and of a high standard. The bistro restaurant was better value than the restaurant.

A great location and we we received a room upgrade which was very gratefully received. Our suite was spotless and very comfortable. Staff very professional and friendly. We ate in the brasserie and enjoyed great wine and delicious food. Highly recommended.

I have known this hotel since I delivered newspapers about 50 years ago and have stayed several times since then. For this visit we stayed in the top floor suite which would have made an excellent apartment for an extended stay, it was so large, and extremely comfortable, with separate lounge/dining room. The menu and wine list for dinner were... More

We stayed for one night during the flower show - it cost us £135 for bed and breakfast, including the Tatton Park entrance tickets, and that was for one the "suites" (describing the room we had as a suite is perhaps pushing it a bit, but at that price I'm certainly not complaining). The room itself was nice enough, with... More

Well overdue review of the Alderley edge hotel as a wedding venue. Can't recommend them highly enough. Very competitve package especially if you are having a smaller wedding, ours was 80 people. From the very start the process was very easy with excellent communication throughout. Weddings are stressfull enough so having a reliable venue with staff that could handle any... More

My husband and I stayed here for one night to attend a wedding nearby. Lovely area of the UK. The high street is 5 minutes walk away where there are a variety of restaurants, cafes and shops. Staff were very friendly. We arrived early and they made their best attempt to get us into a room before the usual check-in... More
