Eighteen years ago my wife and i held our wedding reception here ,just a fantastic day .since when we have visited at least ten times per year ,held many family party's here ,dropped in for lunch,or dinner in the main restaurant .I have held five major conferences for eighty people at a time and never had anything but great reactions... Alderley Edge is definitely worth visiting, so that is what i did having read the Autobiography of Sir Alex. I decided to stop on my way from London to Fort William, and i was not disappointed at all with the dinner - it was great even in the second restaurant of the hotel,non-gourmet place, and the wine list was not... 2 years since we last came here - and I swear the service has improved even more. Now I am super impressed with this place. The best value time to stay here is on the weekends. The food was great for dinner & breakfast as well! The standard for the UK is here!! Sadly - they missed out on the... More

Used to stay regularly at the devere mottram hall, thought I'd try this place and I have to say was pleasantly surprised. Comfy and cosy rooms, great little bar and very friendly staff. It's only a 2 minute walk from Gusto restaurant aswell which is always a bonus. Look of forward to return soon.

I stay here every couple of months, this time (and last) I had a pretty rubbish room. If I stay for four nights I get an awesome room, if I stay for one it's a rubbish room. If you get a numbered room (not named) you are likely to have a mediocre / poor room. Rooms very small, impractical for... More

I'm going to review the hotel in parts as I feel this will give a fairer idea of our stay... Our purpose for visit at the hotel was a wedding which was absolutely amazing and I couldn't fault them at all for that part of their service - the food was lovely and the day ran very smoothly. The wedding... More

We stayed here as we won a competition. The superior room was lovely, huge bed!! The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The only downside was the price of the drinks in the bar, a tad pricey! However we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again :)

My wife and I stayed here this weekend. All the staff were very friendly and obliging and worked very hard to please the guests. Whilst the room we had was small it was well appointed. The breakfast was very good either full English or Continental. I would recommend this hotel for a special occasion either as a group or as... More

Just a one night stay, had a late Sunday lunch which was of the highest quality and service. Highly recommend. Accommodation again very nice, unfortunately as a wedding was in full swing in another part of the hotel we had a disturbed nights sleep. Apart from that I would be more than happy to visit again for more than just... More

We booked the hotel on booking.com for the Rewind music festival at Capesthorne Hall. The price for 2 nights bed & breakfast was a little high for the quality of room and breakfast. The room on floor 2 was tired and in need of upgrade and noise from other rooms as thin walls. Breakfast was split, buffet/self service on the... More
