Me and my family recently stayed in the Camelot Suite. Ian greeted us at check in and was so friendly and answered every question i had for him. The rooms were amazing full of oldy worldy trinkets and memorabilia, you could spend a day just admiring everything. The beds were super comfy and the lounge was really cosy. The Wizards... More

This beautiful fairy tale cottage has many words to describe it. Enchanting, magical, bewitching, adorable, charming and quirky to name just a few. We stayed in the "Camelot" suite and from the moment you walked in the door it gave you a great big hug !! We only stayed the one night, but wished it had been more, and we... More

Absolutely loved our stay at Wizards Lodge in the centre of Audley Edge. The cottage is stunning and full of interesting antiques and artefacts. As soon as you enter the suite you feel comfortable and relaxed. The outside space is beautiful and peaceful and a lovely spot for an evening drink. The hosts are so helpful and cannot assist enough.... More

Just back from two nights in the Camelot Suite at Wizard's Thatch in Alderley Edge and it was truly an enchanting place! The suite was quirky and fascinating, with a treasury of various items and luxurious furnishings. The suite had two double rooms and could sleep four. The main bedroom, heavily beamed and with lattice windows, boasted a magnificent and... More

I booked Wizard's Thatch as a surprise and my only regret is that I only booked it for one night due to work. When we arrived we absolutely loved the character and the thought that had gone into every little detail, Ian has done a fantastic job. The four poster beds were huge and so comfy, every room was different... More

Just back from another 4 days at wizard thatch, it was just as brilliant as the first time, we did not want to leave, grate bars and restaurants, Ian is excellent at letting you no where to go and where the best antique shops are, we stayed in the wizardry once and was blown away with the magical surroundings of... Hidden behind the trees and shrubery is this hidden gem. My wife and i stayed in the Camelot suite amongst all the delighful and quirky objects. The leather furniture and the uneven floors. The four poster bed was very comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. So close to the shops and all the different restaurants. All within... More

A den of treats, magpie delights and voluptuous charm. We stayed in the Wizardry. Beautiful rooms. Attention to detail is evident everywhere. A delightful clutter of historical items create a lovely warm and tender atmosphere. We loved it and will stay again. Fish & Chips from Fosters in the village is a real treat too.

I stayed at Wizards' Thatch the night before my wedding along with my parents and bridesmaids. We had two of the suites - The Camelot Suite and The Wizardry. Both have lovely lounge areas that were great for convening in for supper the night before and the morning to get ready with all the hair and make up. Wizards' Thatch... More

Looking for a special place to stay or gift- then Wizards Thatch is the answer. The place is just full of character and very comfortable. You will want to return again and again. It is just a minute walk to the main street with a good selection of restaurants and bars. As for the area itself there is too much... More
