The Hotel is exceptionally clean and well kept. You will be greeted with a smile and welcomed as a returning friend. The Manager/Owner and his wife are always available to answer any queries or questions you may have. The food is excellent and very well served. Your bedroom will be cleaned daily anything you need supplied. The only small problem... More

We booked this hotel after searching for a break on the Norfolk coast for the bank holiday weekend, We got a great deal on the Octavia suite and it did not disappoint, lovely room in a fantastic old coaching inn, the place is 400 years old and full of character, watch out for the wonky stair case. Staff were really... More

Went here for lunch today, been a few times with my 10 month old twins but today was the first time I had to change one. I was disappointed to learn that there are NO baby changing facilities here. You'd have thought that a hotel like thus would have such facilities

We had our wedding here on 15th Aug 2015. From the very start Anne the manager was extremely helpful, friendly, professional and nothing was too much trouble. Our whole experience was delightful we couldn't have asked for better. Our day was absolutely perfect thanks to Anne, Jim, David, Emma and all the lovely staff. Thank you all.

A town centre hotel with friendly staff. Still has character and a uniqueness which is missing from some more modern establishments spotless room only niggle was the mattress was a bit roll together . Lovely food served by friendly staff (Mike) starched linen, spotless sheets, fluffy towels. Our breakfast was delicious and yet again served by a friendly face. For... More

We booked a superior room for Friday night and Saturday night. This begs the question - What makes a room superior? To me, the room should excell in all areas it should be superior. To the rose and crown, it's putting in a rather indifferent for poster bed in a fairly small room. There was a small window that looked... More

A town centre hotel offering a good standard of accommodation......not lavish, but more than adequate. The staff were welcoming , the room was a good size and everything looked clean. On our deal, the breakfast was included in the room price. It was a 'help your self' arrangement and there was a large selection of cereals, juices, and hot food... More

Lovely rooms and nice hotel but the shower didn't work well and the food at breakfast was limited and not very nice. Some of it inedible. Also, we went to the bar when we arrived and they only served one flavour of crisps and no nuts or other snacks!

The Rose and Crown in Wisbech is an old coaching house dating back 400 years. I'm the town centre on a one way road, so a bit tricky to get to. Smoke parking at the reR of the Hotel through the red arch on the main road. My room was ok though very hot, massive shower in the bathroom but... More

Stayed here for one night whilst walking in the area. The hotel is well located on the Market Place and has stacks of character with a fascinating central staircase. The room was compact but clean and tidy at the rear of the premises.
