I was not sure what to expect with this hotel as the rates were quite low compared to other hotels i have stayed at on business, however the location was ideal for me. I found ALL the staff to be excellent and some 5 star hotels could learn a lot from this hotels customer service, it was warm and friendly.... more

If I hadn't of read the other reviews on TripAdvisor then I wouldn't have stayed at this hotel because everywhere else in the area is just awful. I wasn’t disappointed!! The room I had was one of the most spacious I have had for the price. It was also clean and very modern. I would have no hesitation in recommending... more

Stayed here one night during mid November en route to Norwich. Arrived about 9.30pm. Hotel very quiet following a cancelled wedding! Oh dear, but to our advantage, the rates had been significantly reduced and we had a very large family room for 3 people with breakfast for £55. The Hotel is a converted large Georgian mansion in its own grounds.... more

I was visiting my Brother and His wife in Wisbech and had been booked for a few days in one of the town Hotels, after visiting the Elme Hall for lunch we quickly transferred out and into the Elme Hall Hotel.. What a difference. The night was freezing outside and warm & friendly inside, we could not fault anything. We... more

As soon as you walk into this Hotel, you are greeted by warm friendly faces, matched only by the relaxed atmosphere, one is immediately at ease feeling straight away that nothing is too much trouble. The bedrooms (we have stayed 3 times this year) are large, spacious, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff tended to our every need, the... more

The hotel is very convieniently placed for access to the road network. Wisbech is not known for it's views but is centrally located to the areas of Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk The hotel is clean and every effort has been made to make guests welcome. It is family run and friendly. It is georgian in Style though a modern building.... more

Cannot understand the last review on Elme Hall, spent one night celebrating a special occasion. Room was fantastic, hotel extremely clean, food was fabulous. Owners and staff could not do enough, had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend as an excellent place to stay. Nice to see an independent hotel doing well. more

The rooms are dirty, tired and not very nice. With investment a TLC it has great potential to be a lovely hotel. Would not stay again or reccomend. Overpriced and dirty. more

This guest, has taken a year to place their review, making it difficult for us to trace the booking or its validity. However I am surprised that a complaint was not made on the night. In the unlikely event of a room not being up to our usual standard an alternative room could have easily rectified the situation. The review...

I would like to thank all the staff at the Elme Hall Hotel. I held my wedding reception in the ballroom which was amazing. We were assigned a personal contact a year before the wedding who answered all our questions and helped us organize our special day. We had family from away who all stayed at the hotel and were... more
