We have had a delicious Christmas lunch on Christmas Day. We were the only 7 customers in the restaurant for the lunch, which at first felt strange, but then it felt more like a family lunch. The food was excellent. Our family, between us had all the starters, which were tasty. The main course of either beef or turkey, was... More

Arrived and found I had been double booked. The staff worked very hard on the phone to solve the situation. Not a great arrival but it happens! The rooms are very very tired and the place needs a dramatic overhaul. It was a Saturday night and I was the only person in the restaurant and at the most only 8... More

We stayed at The Five Bells for one night. We found the room small but clean. Very comfortable bed. Could do with new flooring. Had an evening meal and breakfast there and both were excellent. Staff seemed helpful. Overall would recommend for an overnight stay.

Booked a room for single night the service is good and the breakfast. After seeing the reviews initially was bit scared to go there but thought of trying it. Rooms are really big and neat and tidy. Bar staff were good and the bear served was lovely. I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed because we were going to a party at the village hall. Staff are lovely and the breakfast was great although no eggs with an English cooked breakfast? It was cooked fresh and to order by a lovely young chef. Bar staff were helpful and friendly. Room is very dated and cold. The place really needs modernising but it... More

I parked at the rear of the hotel and was surprised to find the outside very shabby. They took me up the uncarpeted stairs to find dirty doors. Shown into room 3 which was very cool and shabby with dirty carpets.Had to get the owner in to make the TV work I asked what time the heating came on and... More

I visit Wisbech on a regular basis with work and I usually stay in a different hotel. Unfortunately that was fully booked and I needed to stay somewhere and the Five Bells is not far so I gave it a go. Before anyone gets carried away with this place please remember it's a pub not a hotel. You really do... More
