We spent three nights in the lovely Old Vicarage B&B in Gorefield a village few miles outside of Wisbech. The house is ever so beautiful, renovated by the owners Sonja and Chris to a standard we all wish we could match in our own homes. Our hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful in every way. We were... More

My daughter and I arrived in the middle of the afternoon and were welcomed with tea and delicious home made cake. (I should have asked for the courgette cake recipe)we were made to feel very welcome and shown to our room which was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. The private bathroom was lovely, wonderful shower and lovely deep old... More

This is a wonderful b & b . A home most of us would love to own. Upon arrival was given tea and home made bickies in the library, then the lady of the house carried my bag to my room. I did feel bad that a woman even older than i was carrying the bag but as i was... More

We were visiting the airshow at RAF Waddington so wanted somewhere to stay on the way home to break up the return journey. We booked direct as we like to speak to the owners and get a feel for the accommodation, on arrival we were greeted by Sonja and offered refreshments & cake :) We stayed in the Japanese style... We'll probably never go in any other B&B, after our experience with Chris and Sonja nothing would compare. The house is stunning - the hard work and love that has gone into restoring and maintaining the Victorian vision shines through in every room, from the ceiling to the floor. Such comfort and character - we've never stayed somewhere with such a... More

Really enjoyed staying here - friendly and very comfortable. Carrot cake on arrival, and a delicious breakfast. The house has lots of charm but is also up to modern standards of comfort! Highly recommended.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at The Old Vicarage and were very impressed. It is not often these days that the room/house lives up to the pictures on a website, but in this instance there was no disappointment. We stayed in a huge king size room which was beautifully furnished. A big thank you to Sonja and Chris for... More
