Second visit and probably the last. Golf courses were in good condition, greens a little slow. Hotel badly in need of an uplift, some of the staff need training on customer service, miserable would be a good word for them. The bar ran out of beer on the only hand pump, most would have had another barrel settling in the... More

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 rounds of golf. The golf courses are in good condition although the greens were slow. The rooms were OK, the TV in the room I had was old and had an old Digi Box which kept freezing so was unable to watch anything. The food was OK nothing special, the bar well, they... More

Stayed here on Monday evening and as another person had already stated the bed was really uncomfortable. The room was very clean as was the bathroom. The t.v on the other hand is best described as a joke. The reception was so poor it was unwatchable. Tea and coffee in the room was more than adequate food in the evening... More

Stayed for two nights and found numerous problems, room was ok could have done with some TLC. What was annoying was the amount of noise which came through the walls. You could even hear when someone upstairs was coughing and the beds where small and quite uncomfortable. The staff on the bar both nights where very inattentive and you felt... More

Hotel was nice and we were part of a golfing party of 20+, rooms were ok and the food was nice. Unfortunately we had picked the worse day for weather playing golf on the Sunday as a practise and Monday was supposed to be our match. The weather was so bad that the course was waterlogged and unplayable, they stopped... More

I stayed for 2 nights for a couple of days wildlife photography. I think this hotel is probably better for those who are keen golfers. I have to say that the staff were lovely- very friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself seems to be a bit stuck in the 80s/90s! I had to have a move of room as... More

I recently went to play in a 3 day golf tournament here at Abbotsley . Everything was so well run and the hotel is comfortable and the food is very good . If you want a place to take some golf friends and have a super time. This is it. It is just very well organized by the owners. The... More

We stayed here the weekend we went to Little Gransden air show. It was quietly situated and not difficult to find. The rooms are in a separate block and our first floor end room had a great view over the green. We had dinner in the restaurant which was OK although the menu was not particularly imaginative. Breakfast was disappointing... More

Our accommodation was in the main block overlooking the reception the room was clean and comfortable but noise from a staff party disturbed us until the early hours. Breakfast was good, but the room was full of tables with dirty crockery on them the whole time we were there. The evening meal was virtually inedible probably the worst meal we've... More
