Stayed here when we went to a wedding in Cambridge. The owners were very accommodating and despite having a booking the previous night went out of their way to let us in early so we could change after our journey before going to the wedding. The Blue Cow is a cottage in a former stable and is beautifully and tastefully... More

Stayed here for the second time over the July 4th weekend and it was a perfectly chilled break, like being at home without the stress. Located just north of Cambridge it is great for exploring the fenlands and surrounding area, would recommend this little gem to anyone as a wonderfull stress buster.

This is a great B&B with a difference. Essentially a self contained one bedroom cottage tucked away quietly in the charming rear garden of a home. Huge breakfast with good options supplied for you to cook yourself.........but leave the dishes and (as quoted by our lovely host)' the pixies will miraculously appear and do the dishes. Roomy, well presented and... More

I went to Cambridge on business and stayed at this gem guest house! Mila was very welcoming and accommodating. The area was quiet and the accommodation was very comfortable! The King William IV pub was a 5 minute walk with good food, friendly staff and real ale! Mila provided quality ingredients for breakfast, too, which completed the "home away from... More

I was on business and my wife decided to come too. We brought two cars to this very special 5 star one bedroom venue - in effect small cottage - in the beautiful garden of a house. We parked our cars in the courtyard surrounded by flowering plants and enjoyed a bottle of champagne for Mother day. What a special... More

The accommodation is excellent , we couldn`t fault anything . Excellent quality breakfast ingredients - particularly the sausages, bacon and black pudding- delicious . The title says it all really. I'm working hard to find Cambridge and Peterborough based clients just so that I can stay over at The Blue Cow. It IS that good. I realise that reviews like this can sound a bit samey and perhaps unrealistic so, I've wracked my brains trying to think of something that The Blue Cow may... More

Just got back from a lovely weekend away at the blue cow. We felt right at home as soon as we went in the door. It was lovely to be able to make our own breakfast when we wanted. The accommodation was lovely and lots of thought had gone into making the place extra special (slippers, dressing gowns and products)... More

Please read the previous 30 reviews, for details, I usually spend ages detailing why something is good or bad, but honestly, this accommodation is marvellous, and every little bit of praise that has gone before is completely accurate. We stayed 28th August as we could not get in for our 25th wedding anniversary, which we spent in another hotel, (the... More
