We stay at least once or twice per year as it is handy for many local attractions such as Silverstone. Staff are always friendly and rooms clean and tidy. Breakfast is great and beer in the evening super with a good atmosphere in the bar. Plenty of parking at rear but can get busy at peak times but never had... More

Stayed here this week after the firm booked me in. On arrival parking is a bit of a mare with it being a public bar also. Found a space eventually. I was told I could not park behind the hotel but others parked here every night. The room (room 40) was ok. Bit of a musty smell on entry each... More

Found this lovely pub on a Sunday afternoon trip.Decided to stay for lunch,so glad we did Staff very welcoming and the food was 1st class.Really good value in oldie world surroundings. My only criticism would have liked Brown bread with the prawn cocktail! Will definitely return.

We were attended the motorxpress organised weekend, this hotel is a typical English village hotel full of lovely features. They were very organised ensuring we got breakfast early before we got the bus each day and served us a lovely 3 course dinner on the Sunday The staff were all very friendly, the only bad point is the heat of... Three of us dined here recently. We didn't want anything posh or over the top just a decent meal and somewhere to sit and chat- we got both at The Bell. A nice old fashioned bar with a great choice of different drinks.A very comprehensive food menu with daily specials as a supplement. We all settled for pork and mushroom... More

Stayed with work and it makes a very nice change from a chain anywhere hotel, in fact it was the opposite of a bland hotel. The staff were friendly. The hotel was old and old fashioned but in a nice way. I was in the annex from the main building, the room was nice enough and quaint and felt very... More

Hotel staff are very welcoming and the rooms are clean and tidy. Free decent strength Wifi was a real bonus. The bars selection of real ales was a bit disappointing . I didn't sample the bar menu but there was a few people eating what looked like good wholesome food. Price was fair and would stay here again.
