We spent 3 nights at Jeff's delightful cottage in mid-May. Our room, with its own staircase, was charming and extremely comfortable. The bathroom, built into the angle of the roof slope, was spotless. Breakfasts were first class and not to be missed - well worth the extra for the full English. Zoe, Jeff's little dog, aka The Meet & Greet... More

I stayed one night - the room and bathroom were very clean and well-appointed with useful touches like water by the bed, good hanging space in the wardrobe and spare toothpaste! It's a charming old cottage and Jeff is really friendly and helpful - he goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome and at home with coffee and... More

Although this is a very nice Bed and Breakfast with a kind host. But the lack of or an option to have a cooked breakfast does decrease its charms. We as a family lead quite busy life's it was abit disappointing being offered a pretty ordinary breakfast! Its a business opportunity ie using local produce etc

We only stayed one night but loved our stay in Jeff's interesting place. The true "village-nature" made it great for we "colonials" and Jeff's advice and local knowledge helped immensely. Breakfast was a real homely self-serve that we happily shared with the other guests and Zoe the dog. Great value for money..

Went with the wife and our puppy and were made to feel very welcome buy Jeff and his dog Zoe. The cottage is a lovely old building, adding to its quirkiness. The breakfast was laid out the night before and this suited as I was out before 5am, and could grab something to eat and drink before coming back to... More

Very hospitable and Jeff is both helpful and good for a chat! Felt much more part of the house than one often does in B&B establishments. We had our dog with us which, although requires a small amount of forward planning(owing to Zoe the house dog)but it is by no means a problem . Highly Recommended.

1 night stay, with an early start the next morning. Jeff was very welcoming when we arrived, parking was tight.....it was a very busy w/end but he was helpful as to how we could resolve it. We were shown to a delightful room, with en-suite. Everything was fresh, clean and tidy, there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the home,... More

Myself & partner visited Jeff's b&b on 28th February and was sad to leave after just one night... We'd love to have stayed longer. Such a warm welcome from little westie Zoe and the most warm & cozy cottage home. Quaint village and traditional decor down to every detail gives city people like us a lovely experience. If you were... More

2 nights, just me, passing through on business. Warm welcome into characterful cottage, close to the village centre. Parking available street-side, within 50 yds of the door. Jeff offered welcoming help with bag and tour and chat, helped by his charming Westie. Poor mobile reception in the area but Jeff has great wi-fi, double plug points either side of bed... More
