We really appreciated Jeff's relaxed approach, we were made very welcome - even with a 9month old cruising around! The breakfasts were superb - full english each morning. The rooms were beautifully done, in keeping with the character of the property. The additional childs room was a really useful feature of this B and B (part of the family suite)... More

If you're looking for a relaxed environment, this is the place. 18th century stable house converted into charming ensuites. Very clean and located in a quaint part of town on a little back street. Great place to tour the surrounding sights. More

We could not have been made more welcome - I hesitate to recommend too highly - fearing only that Jeff will be fully booked when next we need to stay in his lovely home!! More

Jeff really takes care of his guests and you really feel like you are just staying over one of your friends home as that is how comfortable and welcome it feels when you are there. Also, breakfast is a treat and we even got homemade gourmet baked beans, yum! Definitely my choice place to stay in Winslow. More

Was riding back on motorcycle from Dorset underway to Suffolk and booked to stay at The Stables, being around halfway on the journey. Place is clean and welcoming and Jeff is an excellent host. I ate, at Jeff's recommendation, just a few steps round the corner at Paprika which was equally excellent. Winslow is a lovely small town with quite... More

Exceptionally reasonable for what it is The Stables is a truly lovely place. Everything spotless and really feels like a home from hom and Jeff couldn't have been more welcoming. I don't usually stay in B&B's as some can lack privacy/independance but I would without doubt stay here again. Recommend to all. Thanks! More

wonderful B& B in the centre of town yet in a quiet cul-de-sac. We needed to stay close to Addington Equestrian centre ,but having found Jeff we will be back. We could not have had a more welcoming host and wonderful cottage. the garden too is beautiful but we didn't get a chance to sit in it as late arrivals... More

Located in an historic part of Winslow, this B&B is steeped in history and located down a cul de sac called The Walk. You are treated as much as a friend as a guest. WIFI enables you to stay in touch with the present in the delightful surroundings of the past. Small typically English cottage garden to sit in on... More

We were totally blown away by the beauty of the property and garden. Everything was spotlessly clean, and clean towels were on the bed when we arrived. We had a fantatic weekend here and if we're in that part of the country again will definatly be booking The Old Stables without a doubt! More
