Just So cottage is really something special. This warm, cosy, beautifully dressed period cottage is so comfortable and full of character throughout. We enjoyed the extra space the large first floor room gives and loved the roll top bath. The bedroom door was quaintly low, but this added to the charm of the room. Anna was the perfect hostess, warm,... More

Wonderful old cottage, tastefully decorated. Anna could not be more helpful, offers a drink as soon as you arrive. The cottage has low ceilings and narrow twisting staircase, which you would expect in a very old cottage, this does add to the charm. The lounge and kitchen are at your disposal, with a good selection of teas and coffees. Parking... More

We are a family of three who went on a midterm trip to the UK with my teenage daughters BFF (which I am told is pretty important). The trip was a treat for the two girls who had wanted to see Oxford and Ironbridge which they had covered at school (go figure!). We wanted a quiet B&B in a nice... More

If you want a cosy classy period property B and B then this is probably the zenith of such establishments. Rooms are necessarily thought out to make use of every inch of spare space, as being an old property it is at a premium. The rooms are comprehensively equipped, absolutely spotless with wonderful old world charm. The winding staircase will... More

A wonderful 400 y.o. refurbished establishment. Anna made us very welcome and explained the village's offerings. Exposed wooden beams inside the room (and shower!) added a lot of atmosphere. Cottage and garden immaculate. Room comfortable and clean/tidy. Additional space in lounge area (downstairs) where you could read, relax or whatever. Ability to come and go with own key a big... We stayed for 2 nights over the weekend. You couldn't want more from a bed and breakfast. Anna is so friendly and welcoming, made us feel at home straightaway. You can make tea and coffee in the kitchen whenever you want, come and go as you please with your own front door key. The bed we had was cosy and... More

This is a very pretty cottage with a very welcoming and attentive host in Anna. She warmly welcomed us with tea and biscuits and gave advice on the surrounding area and possible restaurants that we could try. The whole cottage is immaculate with period furniture and lovely little touches. You are given the freedom to come and go as you... More

We stayed one night at Just So Cottage and used it as a base to visit Blenheim Palace and Bletchley Park. We like something a little bit different from corporate hotels (they have their place) and this was everything we expected. The Cottage is accessed through a side lane where you can park as it goes into what appears to... More

I've travelled widely during my life and I calculate that my time spent in hotels adds up to at least an astonishing 4.5 years The hotels have typically been Radisson, Park Plaza and Marriott. I've also had the good fortune and pleasure of staying at Okura in Tokio, Oriental in Bangkok and the Waldorf Astoria in N.Y. Although my experience... More

We stayed in this lovely cottage to be close to Silverstone (the prices aren't hiked up at this time like a lot of places!) and had a wonderful stay. It's in a picturesque town and the bedroom we stayed in was full of character and very comfy, with nice en suite facilities. There was also a welcoming lounge area and... More
