We stayed at the Stoke Park Hotel and Club at the start of our trip to the UK. Our flight did not arrive till 10:30 pm so by the time we made it through customs and got our rental car it was almost midnight before we arrived. The hotel is very convenient to the airport, it just took a while... more

On the weekend my boyfriend treated me to a lovely weekend at Stoke Park. I had been there previously with a work conference but never leisure. It was a great way to spend the long weekend. The hotel is set on beautiful grounds. When I was at the conference the service was no where near the service I received during... more

£125 inclusive of breakfast Stayed 12 hours so I only had enough time to meet my colleagues in the bar for some pre dinner drinks before we moved in to the main restaurant. Stayed on a very cold and wet night so it was abit annoying to walk through the puddles in the carpark to get to the main building... more

This is a wonderful old building, and as such has some of the drawbacks of staying in a wonderful old building! Our room had a very comfortable bed but the rest of it was a little out of date ... rather small TV, no mini-bar and slightly tatty furniture. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the spa and... more

We recently stayed here for my 40th birthday weekend. We were in the main house which could do with a lick of paint and a tidy up outside but inside its historic charm prevails. Our room was gorgeous with a huge bed, marble bathroom, sofa and fireplace. I'm also inclined to agree that its unusual for such a place not... more

We booked in for one night to get away from it all and took a room in the Mansion with champagne and fruit. I would advise booking in the Mansion but the champagne and fruit was spoilt by being delayed - due to a wedding being held there. Albeit nice to see a bride on her special day the reception... more

We had a delightful weekend away at Stoke Park recently. Our room had an enormous marble bathroom and a very comfy four poster bed. Couple this with amazing views across the golf course and you are in for a real treat. Great place to get away from it all. The service was quick and attentive from the moment we arrived,... more

I reviewed this hotel the last time we stayed & gave it above average but having stayed again I have upped the review to excellent. We stayed in the Pavilion rooms this time & they are lovely. The restaurant had improved too - we had a really good meal - and we were much more impressed. more

We stayed at Stoke Park in May for a weekend and loved it so much that we returned in August. In May we stayed in one of the bedrooms in their 200 year old Mansion which was great - old worldy style - with big cushions and a four poster bed. When we were there we were shown their new... more

Having returned home from a magnificent weekend break at this truely luxurious country club, we must share this wonderful experience. From arrival up the stoned drive to sad departure the following day, it was an unforgettable time away and we would recommend it to anybody. We stayed as a celebration for my 40th birthday which my partner Kate organised, knowing... more
