For me, exceptional cleanliness means I can forgive anything. The bathroom and the bedding were spotless, and one is rarely able to say that. Have stayed here a few times, and definately intend to go back. Really convenient for Wembly if you don't want to stay in London. Rooms are spotless with comfy beds, very little noise even if your room faces the car park. Gerrards Cross high street has some nice little shops for a wander and the station is a minute away.... more

Whilst it certainly is clean and the desk staff are friendly, and the building has character, £119 per room excluding breakfast is a lot to pay for just a (reasonably sized ensuite twin room with a desk and wardrobe but no armchair) , there is no residents lounge, lobby, or bar... more

My first visit to England. I stayed at the Ethorpe hotel with my best significant for 6 days and nights. Very clean, the service is great.
