Had booked into a nearby hotel which turned into a nightmare, checked out and fortunately the Villiers came to our rescue and provided us with a double room. Yes it did cost us a little more but it was worth every penny. The staff are very friendly and extremely efficient - they were even able to spell and pronounce my... More

We stayed here for one night to attend a wedding reception and we were very impressed, reception were very friendly and helpful even when we asked for more tea and milk at 1am, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very large and spacious with a larger than average bath, the room was very clean but the chair in... More

Stayed here Valentine's night. Room was lovely and large and comfortable with everything you could need. Generous sized bath which was a treat. Bathroom could probably do with a bit of a refurb but was spotlessly clean. Dinner was fab, breakfast too and of good quality. Very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff. Would recommend.

I found the Villiers Hotel to be clean and comfortable, with staff both professional and welcoming. As it was Valentine’s Day I splashed out a little and booked the Valentine’s Day package with a night in one of the suites at the hotel. The food at dinner was great, the atmosphere lovely and the staff very friendly and patient. Breakfast... More

Thank you for your Review, so pleased to read you had an enjoyable Valentines Night with us. I am so very sorry that we failed you and your girlfriend by not being able to offer you the Suite with Spa Bath that you had set your hearts on for your Valentines break, following a very rare breakdown with the communication... Hotel is converted from a coaching inn, located in the centre of Buckingham village. I have visit about once a year for 3~5 nights, as hotel is near to our UK business office. Feels like an 'olde' English inn, much preferred to chain hotels in the area. Very good food (the full 'English Breakfast' will do you nicely) and first... More

We stayed for 1 night here on 31st January with our friends who had stayed at Villiers before...and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were large and clean, with coffee, tea making facilities, TV and wifi. Toiletries and soft white fluffy towels in the bathroom, which maybe was a little dated, but has a good shower and was clean. The open... More

I stayed at The Villiers Hotel for one night. Was made to feel very welcome. The room was warm and cozy and very tastefully decorated. I was staying on my own and so ordered a Room Service evening meal. It arrived very quickly beautifully laid out on a tray with linen napkins. The food was hot and extremely good. I... More

Our arrival was greeted by friendly helpful reception. Our room was large very clean and comfortable and my only comment would be that the bathroom could do with updating. We ate in the restaurant on our first night and food was excellent tho the starter could of been hotter! Overall an excellent stay

For a second time in two years my wife and I, together with some close friends, welcomed in the New Year at Villiers Hotel. This a very much a bespoke hotel which has a ballroom located in the Old Buckingham Town Hall just opposite the hotel. We attended a dinner dance in the Ballroom and also booked two rooms at... We went for lunch as a foursome recently and chose from the Seasonal Christmas lunch menu which was the same as the Market Lunch menu for some reason at £25 for three courses (£19.95 for two). Check it out on the website. What attracted us was the 2 star AA rosette award for dining. Food was good, presented well and... More
