Silverstone is only a few miles away and staying in Villiers Hotel in Buckingham was a great stay. Staff are helpful and welcoming, restaurant is fabulous with really good wine list, nice touch with fish tanks and suberb cuisine for a really reasonable price. A standard double room is spacious, comfortable and clean with en-suite bathroom. Would definitely stay there... More

We stayed two nights in a lovely sunny room overlooking the central courtyard. Everything in the hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening was delicious. There was a flea market in town on Saturday in town and a Vintage Food market on Sunday.... More

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights Friday & Saturday and have no complaints whatsoever. Stayed in room 112, immaculately clean large room with a comfy bed and everything fully functional. Restaurant is pleasant and the service and food is high standard but not over priced. Choice and quality of breakfast is very good and again the service is... More

We went here last Saturday with friends for a meal. Lovely bar to enjoy pre-dinner drinks and then in to the restaurant. The food is delicious with a good choice including a set menu. The presentation and food was of a very good standard and should be labelled fine dining. The only thing that wasn't fine dining was the price.... More

Tried this hotel as nearby MK was full! It was recommended by a colleague who has been there for a wedding recently. I found the parking easily in the fairly empty car park through the barrier. The reception was friendly and efficient - the room was excellent - and the restaurant very good. The wifi was ok in the public... More

We got married here and decided to visit for our anniversary meal. We had a delicious three course meal, the staff were so warm and welcoming, as was Jean, the fantastic hotel manager. They treated us to a drink and we got a card from all the staff. They put real effort in to make our night feel very special.

This nearly got 4 out of 5, but there were a few shortcomings. My wife and I spent a night here before attending a local funeral. We arrived in time to park under cover in the courtyard. Had we needed to go out again in the car after about 8 p.m. it would probably have been impossible, as we would... More

Many thanks for your detailed feedback. We have 60 car-parking spaces at Villiers and if some of our early morning leavers request a "double park" in the courtyard car-park we always agree but keep keys at reception in case it needs to be moved. Re the window in your room - we will ensure the catch is safe - fortunately... More

This is a friendly hotel that has big rooms full of luxury. The wifi signal is poor so not great for those on buisness. The breakfast is delicious but the service is very slow particuarly when they are busy, so be prepared to wait 30 mins which is not great when you are in a rush. Having said that it... More
