We booked a non cancellable room 3 months ago to coincide with the Silverstone Classic Show. When we arrived at travelodge we were told they were overbooked and would have to go to their Towcester travelodge. Some 10 miles away They said they had tried to ring us but only had our home number. Yes they rang our home number... More

Stayed in this hotel for three days to attend local birthday celebration - happy with the friendly and helpful staff and the standard of the room. The only drawback was the temperature of the room - which were unbearably hot. We had an upstairs room at the front (sunny) side of the building and the room was consistently hotter than... More

Staff helpful, smart and friendly. Bed really comfy and lovely squidgy pillows. Bathroom clean except for some marks and hair left on wall tiles. Bath more for sitting in - no chance of lying out flat Room VERY hot. They did offer fans but I wasn't sure I'd be able to sleep with the noise so opened my bedroom window... More

I stayed for three nights during a bit of a heatwave. The lady on reception was fantastic, offering me a fan, a free cool drink and tips on staying cool. When I arrived I was given a list of places to eat and drink in Buckingham. I was planning to breakfast at the twenty four hour tesco opposite but this... More

we stay here when visiting Silverstone, its a 10 minute drive. Big Tesco across the or petrol station right next door. This visit we got a welcome package with a list of places to eat etc, directions to track and even had an email prior asking if we had an special requests. We stayed at the Travelodge, Buckingham for two nights over the weekend of the British GP at Silversone. It was well placed being just a short drive to the circuit and has great facilities on its doorstep, like a Tesco supermarket and a garage offering breakfast and Costa coffee. The room cost more than usual, but was good value compared... More

We stayed at this Travelodge as a base for attending the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The rooms were just as expected for a Travelodge (fairly basic, etc), however the service from the staff was a very pleasant surprise - the team were extremely friendly, very willing to help and did all they could to make our stay pleasant. Easily... More

The hotel was ok but could do with a general refurb. The staff were very good and we had everything we had arranged. I would stay again if I couldn't find anything else around the price range. The best way to describe this hotel would be average.

We stayed here on our way back north from Southampton and found the Travelodge easily enough (even without a map to hand). Not too far to Buckingham centre, maybe a little more than a comfortable walk but easily driven. Our stay was quiet and staff were very good and helpful. The only issue was the temperature on the room -... More

Hmm, having stayed many a times in a travelodge, I feel that this particular branch is not quite up to scratch! However, over our two night stay staff were helpful and it was cheap. Everything was clean but the walls are very thin; other people can easily be heard in the corridors! But I'd go there again for £85 for... More
