I stayed for 2 nights in 2 weeks in the Best Western Buckingham the other night and if you are looking for a quiet stay after a hard days work you won't get much better than this in the vicinity. It's nice to receive a friendly welcome, and my room was clean, with a larger than average TV and above... more

We stayed at this hotel on a cold January Friday night. The reception staff where very good when we booked in, and we noticed straight away that the reception area/bar area had been newly funished and smarted up since our previous visit. The bedrooms also looked newly decorated and smarted up, but the bathroom looked old and tired. There was... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel with a large wedding party. First impressions were fantastic - the reception area was lovely and the staff were very welcoming. The rooms were fab - clean, spacious and comfortable. As previous reviews have stated there was no traffic noise. We ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was reasonably... more

We stayed at the Buckingham Travel Lodge the night before. See that review too. The room was clean and well furnished the staff were OK. Nice pool and average breakfast. No traffic noise. Is it worth twice as much as the Travel Lodge. Not sure. The sower was better in the T.L. MY sister was staying the same night. She... more

We stayed over a Friday/Saturday due to a wedding elsewhere in Buckingham. We weren't expecting much, as we did not intend to spend much time in the hotel, but I was still disappointed. Arriving the Friday afternoon and being unfamiliar with Buckingham we decided to eat in the hotel restaurant. We waited over an hour for our main course (I... more

Stayed at this hotel prior to a business meeting. Paid £56 B&B for a deluxe room - seemed excelent value. The room was very large, which must be why it was referred to as deluxe. Their was complimentary fruit and water in the room, plus a small box of chocolates - a nice little touch. However the furniture was very... more

Paid £60 well in advance and was pleasantly surprised. Rooms very similar to Travelodges etc. Fairly spacious with usual amenities. It is really a motel but what sets it apart is the pool, gym etc and also the very good buffet breakfast. If I was passing that way again and needed to stay overnight I would certainly use this place... more

I recently stayed at the hotel. I had not been there for over a year and noticed that it was under new managment. They have spent money and have begun to make great improvements to this hotel. The reception is much more airy- they have got rid of the 1970's piano and the silly nick knacks and it now looks... more

I booked this hotel at the last minute through laterooms. I would not stay here again. The lady at check-in was rude and obstinate. We arrived an hour before check-in and were told that not a single room was ready. We politely asked to be told if a room should become available before 2pm. This was to no avail as... more

Stayed for 1 night on business. Wouldn't return unless there were no other hotels avaliable. Rooms are old and tired, but are okay for 1 night. Wouldn't recommend eating the food. Ate in the restaurant and it was far below average, service was slow and staff told us off for adding another table when more people joined our party. One... more
