I don't eat meat but no issue for the order to be replaced. The staff made the stay though. So friendly and such a nice atmosphere. They seem like a really... More

I went here for a breakfast briefing. It was held in the Old Chapel which is a lovely facility for presentations. The acoustics are good and the room is light and airy. They served a cooked breakfast to everyone which was tasty and served piping hot. The lady looking after us was very friendly. I would recommend this place for a... More

This hotel has bags of history and this is its USP really. The rooms are wonderfully odd in both shape and fixtures. To enjoy this hotel you need to want to be in a quirky place - if you're a fan of W Hotels and brushed aliminium sterility this is not for you. We stayed in a suite which was... More

We held a family dinner in the Courtyard Room for my daughter's 21st Birthday and The Crown didn't disappoint! Lovely atmosphere, cosy surroundings and a great meal! The service was excellent from start to finish and the venue always manages to bring back some great memories!

Great hotel, full of charm and character, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite and wow what a room, with the original oak beams and high ceiling, coupled with a jacuzzi bath actually in the room really makes it that bit special, All the staff were great very friendly and couldn't be more helpful, very nice bar... We just stayed one night at The Kings Arms and our biggest disappointment was that we weren't staying longer. We were lucky enough to be upgraded for our stay, to one of the lovely old suites in the main building. It was a huge, comfortable room, with a four poster, armchair and large flat screen tv. Ceiling was very high... More

Stayed for one night with partner after visiting the WB Harry Potter Tour. Lovely hotel, we booked a dulux room but were fortunate to be upgraded to a suite. The site was lovely and well presented. The bed was comfortable and the room warm, with luxury toiletries and bath robes. All the staff were welcoming, friendly and professional. We didn't... More

Thank you for your kind words - they are much appreciated. We have worked hard in the last couple of months with a new chef, a new bar and restaurant manager and clearly this is paying dividends as the team is performing well. Your comments will keep their enthusiasm levels high. peter More

Thank you for your kind review. The acoustics in the old building are occasionally challenging, especially when there is a big wedding party in. I hope it did not disturb you for too long. More

Situated in a prime spot in Old Amersham, this cannot be beaten for quaintness. We had Sunday lunch which was lovely although we had an hour to wait after ordering before it was served. Breakfast was ok, but vegetarian options need more consideration and wasn't much left out when we came down. Staff were attentive, and pleasant; the maitre d'... More
