On approach to the hotel, despite the numerous rain clouds, the grounds were absolutely stunning! Once we had arrived in the hotel, the young receptionist Matthew was welcoming, helpful and very well presented - throughout our stay, nothing was too much bother and quite literally - it was service with a smile. The restaurant staff were equally as helpful and... more

The approach to the hotel down the long tree lined drive, is charming, as is the first sight of the hotel itself. It appears to be a Georgian country house, set in its own grounds, overlooking countryside in which deer can be seen grazing. Our room was furnished very comfortably in a classic style, in keeping with the grandeur of... more

We booked sole use of Flitwick Manor for our wedding in October 2008 and stayed there with 50 relations and close friends. We held the ceremony and reception at the hotel followed by a group breakfast the following morning. I have to say that from our very first enquiry in January 2008 to when we left the day after our... more

We booked an overnight stay at Flitwick. We had been to the hotel several times before but not for many years. The setting is (still!) lovely, typical old English manor house. Not often do you see a beware of squirrels crossing sign as you proceed along a driveway! The hotel it self is very good. The staff are friendly and... more

The grounds and hotel itself are very scenic and attractive. I wanted to check in before 2.00pm as I was leaving for a wedding, however this wasn't possible. The staff were polite, but they were clearly stressed as there weren't enough people to look after the volume of guests in the hotel Room was OK, although to get to mine... more

Stayed the night before a driving day at Milbrook. Arrived with 2 kids 2yrs and 4 months old. The staff couldn't have been more accommodating. They upgraded our room to make it larger and probably to keep us further away from the other guests!! They made a meal for my 2 yr old off menu and were amazingly friendly and... more

We got a great deal with Menzies. The Hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, and was comfortable and relaxed. Our standard room was spotless, but a little cramped, Evening meal was a limited choice, but very nice as was breakfast. Reception was good, but staff seemed reluctant to smile or enter into conversation. I will return, but stay in a... more

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Flitwick Manor and I can honestly say it is the best hotel I have been to for a long time. The food was exquisite, staff friendly and informative and the bedroom beautiful. It wasn't expensive either and is certainly a venue I would recommend to others. more

The house is very pleasent. Small enough to make you feel like it is not just another high class hotel. But the staff are really very poor. They didn't listen to me when I questioned my bill and they made me feel as though I should consider myself lucky to be spending time in their hotel. All in all a... more
