The staff and breakfast in the downstairs pub have made up for a sleepless night as this Inn is by the side of a busy road. However, it stated it was near Luton airport which can be misleading as it takes a 10-20min trip in the taxi to get there which cost me an additional £10. I'd recommend an air... More

Stayed for one night. Room was very clean, both with bedding and towels. In room drinks and TV, shower very good. Staff excellent, also the hungry horse pub food was very good. Only 7 miles to Luton Airport, 5 miles to Town.

Personally I think the hotel isn't that bad at all! Okay yes it's small and out dated but other than that I'm more than happy to stay again! Me and my fiancé stayed at this hotel on NYE and we both found the experience pleasant. The bed was so comfortable and the staff were polite too. I wasn't going to... More

stayed for one night, had to wait quite a while for key because pub was busy. You get the feeling the hotel is an unwanted side line, decor past it's best, some maintainance issue,ie toilet light not working, radiator would not turn off. But at the end of the day you get what you pay for. Enjoyed a few drinks in... More

When you get to an hotel to check in, you want to be greeted by a receptionist and get to your room in a fairly short time. Alas this rarely happens. You arrive at the reception, no one there. You read the card which says, "Ring 216 for Receptionist". You ring and are told someone will be with you in... More

The bath/shower was so in need of decorating, worn dated, needs a complete over haul, like the bathroom shelf laying on floor. The check in procedure is much to be desired, pick the phone up call the bar, some one will come, eventually......................and when they do, take no notice of how much the bartender has drunk? The bar food area,... More

Went with a group of people for a sunday lunch. Very disappointing - food dry - looks like it had been left under a heated lamp. All the group got served at different times so three of us had finished our dinner so it wouldn't get cold and the rest hadn't been served. The same thing happened with the puddings... More

We stayed at the Highwayman for one night as it was close to our family's address in Dunstable. The price is very cheap, but don't expect any extras above what you pay for. The room and hotel itself is tired and some parts are "falling to pieces". The bed however was extremely comfortable, which is always a plus. The staff... More

Stayed here for one night, it was clean and tidy but i must say the bath/shower room was very dated need's a revamp other than that it's a great place. a good point is that it's next door to an hungry horse pub so not far to walk and good value too.
