I stayed at the Atikokan Hotel for a week while I was in town for work. The owners and staff were all very friendly and accommodating and my room was clean and comfortable. I stayed in room 20 which appears to have been 3 rooms at one time but was converted into one large room including a private bathroom, living... More

We go canoe tripping in Quetico Provincal Park just about every year. We usually stay overnight some where near the park the night before we start out in the canoe. This year we decided to try the Big "A" or Atikokan Hotel and were pleasant surprised. It is a heritage building that has been tastefully renovated in tune with the... More

This hotel is surprisingly good for the price. We stayed in Room 22. It was a recently remodeled room. The bed was comfortable and the pillow soft and comfy. The bathroom had a brand new one-piece fiberglass tub and shower. The towels were luxurious. We ate in the dining room both nights we were there. Everything was delicious! Truly a... More

Wonderful place, super clean, friendly, comfortable, very affordable - just like staying at a cozy cottage or B&B (atmosphere/decor). The room I stayed in had its own bathroom and was newly renovated, with the softest towels ever! Also had a TV and internet. My at-first skeptical coworker stayed in the room next door, and ended up saying he loved it... More

I've stayed here once before and found it a good deal and quaint. Since then they've added a new deck off the bar and their menu and offerings in the restaurant were much improved. Actually the steak was one of the best I've had anywhere. You pay for it but well worth it. The owners, as before, are quite the... More

My husband and I went through Atikokan to go to Quetico Parks to canoe and camp and were pleasantly surprised to find this little hotel on the edge of town. More like a cozy bed and breakfast, as the rooms were tucked away on the second floor like old fashioned bedrooms in a quaint old house. Nicely updated and clean,... More

Stayed here last summer with my sister for a single night but wanted to stay longer. Stephanie, the owner, was so kind and helpful, and such an amazing cook! We arrived very late on bicycles and were at best hoping for a cold sandwich, since the kitchen was closed and Stephanie had already gone home for the night. Quite against... More

This is a perfect little inn to stay in, if you are ever in Atikokan. I had their best room. It was great value for the money and they also have an onsite restaurant which served good food. I had a room with a private bath which worked out well. I don't know if anyone else was staying in the... More

I stayed here in September 2011 for one night and was surprised to find that this hotel had been cleaned up and cozied up to attract people that might normally stay in a B+B.There is a nice lounge and a dining room serving a wide variety of meals. This hotel was a railway stop in the days of iron mining before...
