We have been skiing with my children for the last 5 years. We go back to Solitude because of the tranquility and great deals we get every time we go. Every year we get a discount as we are returning customers. We also get great deals in rentals and lift tickets. The place is always at its prime with regards... More

We have vacationed here several times and the skiing is always great and so uncrowded. The most and best runs for beginners plus plenty for intermediates as well. The advanced/expert runs range from easy enough for good intermediates to tackle to super steep. The powder is awesome and plentiful. We have stayed at the Inn and the condos. All are... More

Because this is a ski resort the busy season is obviously winter. However this is a great place to get away from the heat and the crowds in the summer time. Off season rates exist and are enticing for what you get. Not to mention we had the place pretty much to ourselves. With hiking and biking trails starting at... More

Solitude is a fun area to ski, but the night life is non-existant. In fact, the employees look at you like you've got two heads if you ask why the bar is closing at 830pm. Stay elsewhere if you want fun after skiing! Also, expensive lodging that is starting to show its age.

Eight of us stayed in a condo in Eagles Springs East the last week of March 2013. The resort is very nice and there was rarely any wait for the lifts. My daughter and I took "group" snowboarding lessons two mornings in a row and were the only ones there. It was like getting a private lesson. Our instructors, Kevin... More

We went snowboarding and had a wonderful time. I had taken lessons two other times, but never got as much out of them as I did this session. It is a very scenic area, and they really seem to want you to have a great visit so you will come back. We'll be back for sure!

We are Vermont skiers who ventured out west for the first time and had a great experience staying at Solitude Ski Resort in the middle of February. The Village is very nice and laid back even as the week got a bit busier with President's week right around the corner. We prefer less crowds and chaos so this suited us... More

We stayed at Eagle Springs East before Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. The Village is very scenic and tranquil, without the crowds of other resorts. We actually snowboarded at Brighton, which is just a few minutes away. The heated pool and hot tub were very nice and kids had a good time in the game room. The St. Bernard restaurant... More

We stayed at unit 201 of Eagle Springs West over the MLK weekend. The unit was spacious, fully equipped and nicely appointed. Since we only stayed four nights, there wasn't any maid service, but additional towels/toiletries were available on request. Our unit was at the end of the hall, but we could easily hear other guests across the hallway. Fortunately,... More
