The Historic Beaumont Hotel began as a stagecoach stop in the late 1800's. The slow but steady climb from one town to the next (Kansas is NOT flat everywhere) used a tremendous amount of fuel and water for the steam locomotives that traveled through in the early twentieth century. One of the largest wooden water towers in Kansas was built... More

Interesting guests, fantastic staff, Great food, really clean rooms, comfortable beds, history on every wall! And love love love Kim! I Cannot thank her enough for all she did for our party of three. It was wonderful 80th birthday for my dear Pastor and we are all planning our next trip back.

The 1800's Hotel @Beaumont has been mostly restored. The entire hotel is filled with fun old pictures and vintage airplane ads, etc. The 50's café is a fun place to eat and the surroundings take you back to a bygone era for sure. The rooms are ok, I wish they were furnished with more of an antique atmosphere, but they... More

The staff and food here were fabulous. We didn't stay in a room, but hope to next time we pass through. We were given a tour of the hotel and the unoccupied rooms, and enjoyed the many pictures of past guests and events on the walls. Extremely friendly folks!

We did not stay at the hotel, but came up from Wichita for a day trip. We ate at the cafe, and it was very tasty! The two of us had cheeseburgers and fries. The service was very satisfactory, and would recommend to a friend. The staff let us take a tour of the empty rooms. We may have to... More

We stayed one night and had two meals here. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the meals in the cafe were tasty and inexpensive. Really interesting pix of visiting pilots and motorcycles all over. Neat place to visit.

We rode our bikes down just to spend the night. Came across it while surfing the web. Staff were the best and the history of the place and originality was worth this trip alone. Definitely one of the quietest places we've stayed.

Lovely little town with lots of history. The last standing "water shed" in the United States, built in 1885 to refill steam locomotives along the railroad. Lovely hotel as well with great food, renown for their western dishes. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area or on your way through.

I stayed 3 nights at the Beaumont Hotel (Thursnight-Sunday Morning) Staff was WONDERFUL! Greeted us warmly.. We had a good time with them.. friendly and sassy! They went out of the way to make things comfortable. We were in town for the Master Nationals (Dog Hunt Testing) and they even offered to hold dinner for us! It was Saturday Night's... More
