I spent three nights at Al Cielo as part of my honeymoon and it was exactly what we needed after spending a whole week with family and friends for our wedding. We were able to check in early and the room was rustic and romantic. I don't know if it was becuase of the flu issue or of it is... more

Just returned from 5 nights at Al Cielo. We stayed in the Agua room. Can't say enough good things about this place. Definately best in Xpu-Ha. Beach was pristine. The staff was so nice and easy going. People were honest - No theft issues, even when I accidentally left my engagement ring in the room while maid was cleaning. Room... more

Al Cielo is unique because of all the colorful things that make this place so alive, with its wonderful people and the sounds of life heard throughtout the day and the fact that just being here causes an inexplicable happiness. I choose this hotel because has everything for those that are looking for peace and tranquility. Here a guest can... more

We just got back from the Riviera Maya where we stayed at Al Cielo Hotel for the first 4 days of our trip then moved to Secrets Capri for the last 5 days. I would have to say that I based my choices for hotels on this trip mainly from reviews at this website. First, getting there. It is far... more

My husband and I stayed in the room AIRE for seven days in April 2008. We absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is very rustic, but extremely clean. The rooms are polished dark wood with clean crisp white linens which the hotel maid manages to keep scrupulously free of sand. The bathroom is also rustic which means that the shower... more

Al Cielo lives up to its Trip Advisor recommendations. We just returned from a 3 night stay at Al Cielo. We stayed upstairs in Aire - at first I was concerned because the room was closer to the restaurant but that was never a problem as there are only 4 rooms - so the guests are quiet and the lovely... more

My wife and I got married on the 28th April 2007 at Al Cielo and it was perfect. Everything about this place is magical. The beach is stunning, the rooms romantic and the people extremely welcoming. The service at this hotel is outstanding and the restaurant is increadible. Olga and Donaji, the manager and wedding co-ordinators did an amazing job... more

Just returned from beautiful Riviera Maya and stayed a couple of nights in Xpu-ha at Al Cielo. We are an unnmarried couple in our 20's and loved the Al Cielo hotel because it's quiet, extremely laid back and they are more than willing to accomodate your every need. Upon arrival we were brought complimentary welcome cocktails, and then again the... more

The staff was wonderful and friendly. Olga is kind, and the waiter we had was so very kind and charming. Great service!! The spot is quite beautiful. I came because of the great reviews. However, I was not as happy with the place as with Tita Tulum, to which I would have returned if a refund had been available to... more

Staying here, we were the envy of everyone else in Xpuha . . . seriously, at least one tourist would stop by our palapa every day and ask about how they could arrange to stay there on their next visit! The rooms are simple--no A/C, minimal furnishings--but the bed was very comfortable, there was a hammock in the room, and... more
