My son had his wedding reception here over a week ago. Andrew and the staff just blew us away with their warmth and hospitality. The food was delicious. Three family members have to have a gluten free diet (2 Coeliac's) and they made separate starters for us as well as the main course that were soooo delicious. The beach was... More

Take advantage of the Halfboard rate. Property: Tucked away on a beautiful beach, this small hotel has everything you need to make you feel at home. There is a small resort next door, and larger one down the beach, so the beach is never crowded. Very nice beach to have a walk on, but the further down you get the... More

My wife and I returned to Al Cielo for the third time a few weeks ago and stayed in the upstairs room called Agua. The owners of the property have become like family to us and were always there to take care of us, make suggestions for dinners, etc. We did the "half board" option that included one romantic dinner... We don't enjoy mega-resort hotel and this was an excellent choice for me and my boyfriend. This was quiet, private small hotel for grown-up only. We stayed in a cabin with suite room and roof top deck with hammock and king size bed. We slept there on our last night of stay and it was just beautiful. The staff was... More

Nice rooms, lovelly beach, good service, ideal for stay 2 o 3 nights just to a complete relax. The location is fine and far from the noise and nightlife.. the food is OK but we prefered to get out and taste other places.

My husband and I stayed there for four nights with our one year-old daughter. We stayed in the villa Atardecer. It was very clean, large rooms, safe, quiet and nice. It also had a top deck. The staff was very polite and went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. The place is just beautiful. I do recommend... More

Beautiful boutique hotel. The staff (and owner) could not be any more friendly or charming. We stayed in the Villa Atardecer - which is not directly on the beach - but is a 60 second walk to the beach. Villa Atardecer was perfect for us - it has the most privacy out of all - and we really used the... More

Beach, dining, accommodations and service are all amazing. The perfect blend of everything.. We've been visiting the Tulum area regularly for about seven years and we've had really good trips. But there's always a trade off - great rooms, not great beach or convenient but the dining isn't great. Al Cielo delivered on all the wants and needs without any... More

I can't say enough about this very special place. The beach is peaceful and stunning - I've been up and down that coastline and have never seen a nicer white sand beach. The accommodations are lovely. The staff is incredibly attentive. If you're looking for a quiet, classy, beautiful place to stay amid the crowds on the Riviera Maya, this... More

I have been to Al Cielo at least half a dozen times and it never disappoints. Fantastic boutique hotel that makes the beach the central focus. You don't fight for chairs, you listen to the surf all night, the rooms are simple but extremely clean and comfortable, and the service is fantastic. There is a charm at Al cielo that... More
