We only stayed here for one night in our quick stopover in Valladolid but it was a great choice. We got a lovely, large room (with air-con and a fan which was definitely needed). Its a short walk from the main plaza but that means its in a lovely quiet location near to the Convent de San Bernardino de Siena.... More

A wonderful place to stay in, excellent value for money. Fantastic location, magnificent staff. We stayed for only one night, since we were passing through, but its placea like these that make you wish you could stay more days.

Recently stayed at Casa Quetzal and was pleasantly surprised when we opened our apartment door. Gorgeous room, complete with a hammock. Facilities were great and only a short walk from the town centre. Was great to cool off by the pool in the afternoon. Would recommend staying here!! Staff were very helpful also.

Spent three nights in April. The compound itself is quiet and spacious. Surrounding area not always. Dogs barking, people talking. If having your door automatically lock behind you and having a dead bolt lock is a requirement for you, skip staying here.

A cute little hotel on an attractive plaza by the convent. The decor is very attractive, with Mexican folk art on the walls surrounding the interior patio/swimming pool. I stayed in the cabana which is a spacious two-room house in the back garden and it is airy with plenty of fans. It is also seriously tranquil and perfect for relaxing.... More

This is a pretty hotel with friendly staff inn great location in a nice part of town, not too touristic. Our faMiley stayed three nights while visiting nearby sites and cenotes. Lovely breakfasts, pretty garden and pool. Not a luxury hotel. We were the only Americans there, which was nice.

As we speak we are enjoying life from our hamaca in our cabaña at Casa Quetzal. The cabaña is a wonderful 2 unit house. It has no glass windows but mosquito windows instead. The wind is softy blowing trough the kitchen and dining area. It is like a Mayan house with palm leaves as a roof. The cabaña also has... More

It was a pleasure to stay at Casa Quetzal. The people are very friendly and welcoming. You certainly feel like you are staying with a family. The location is great - just a short walk to the downtown area and close to nice restaurants, boutiques and the monastery. There is plenty of secure parking available. The room we had was... More

After staying in multiple locations in Valladolid, this neighborhood (Sisal) is my favorite. It is away from the hustle and bustle, in a beautiful setting next to the convent, but a short walk to the main plaza. The furniture and details throughout the small hotel are beautiful, as is the garden. It feels like an oasis. The one thing I... More

Very nice, charming hotel, bit of a hippy atmosphere :) Our room/bungalow was very large, clean and nicely decorated. It got quite cold at night and in the morning it felt like a flock of birds was sitting on your pillow. It's like you are in the middle of nature, but don't expect to sleep in. Breakfast was lovely and... More
