After a couple of hours of driving, we got checked in and went to park. The parking is brick paved, and gated. We felt safe. Our first reaction to the room was that it looked like an authentic Mexican hacienda. It was immaculate, spacious and cool, with clay-colored tile floors. The doorways were framed in arched brick painted in a... More

Beautiful hacienda style accommodation. Gardens are beautifully manicured, tennis court and pool looked good, room was very nicely finished and decorated. Bathroom recently renovated, but shower head was really poor - water went everywhere. Worst was the failure of staff to respond to requests to attend to problems in the room - television remote that didn't work. They also wanted... More

First of all, this review is long overdue; I intended to write it when we returned last March and it somehow was omitted from the batch of places we stayed. This was our first stop on a two week tour of the Yucatan. After flying into Cancun, we rented a car and drove to Valladolid. Our intent was to spend... More

Visited Valladolid in the afternoon after spending the morning at Chichen Itza. Actually the hotel was the nicest place and grounds we saw after walking around Valladolid. We had a car but chose to walk to city center which only took about 10 minutes. Room was nice and clean and the AC blew Ice cold which was the only good... More

Good location a few blocks from main town square. Rooms nice enough but small things like a toilet that when flushed kept on flushing and a bust lock on the balcony door. Was only there for one night and didn't want to waste time and wanted to get out and about and so didn't report it. I took my valuables... More

Of course I didn't visit every hotel in Valladolid but I can't think of anywhere in the city that could possibly be better. Yes the hotel is about 8 blocks from the city center but that's really no big deal. The walk to town is easy and safe. A taxi will only cost you 20 pesos if you don't feel... More

We stayed overnight to get to Chichen in the morning. Busy hotel, pleasant staff, big rooms and bathrooms, adequate parking. Kitchen facilities in master suite were very basic, with a small fridge (locked, deposit needed to open it), microwave, coffee maker, and small sink. Could be expanded to include stove and cookware. Restaurant had a good breakfast, friendly staff, worked... More

We stayed here as a couple during the last week of October. We spent one night in Valladolid after visiting Chichen Itza and before heading south. The hotel grounds were lovely (and deserted this time of year). We had breakfast by the beautiful pool. Our room was large and included a jacuzzi. This was a great value for the $$$.... More

We stayed in Augusto 2011 just one night in this hotel on our way through Valladolid. The hotel too was highly priced for the service they gave us, rooms are spacious and bathrooms clean but definitely poorly equipped (not enough towels for a double room!). The staff was very unfriendly, since we were back papering at that time they even... More

It was a longer walk to the main square than I expected but worth it. Taxis were cheap and easy to find. The hotel was beautiful!, quiet and the service was excellent. We had a great time in Vallodolid. it was a fabulous quaint little town.
