Impecable, beautiful, colonial hotel. Affordable. Excellent location in Downtown. Friendly staff. I will always come back to this hotel. Whether you travel solo or with family / friends. Just a few blocks from Downtown Main Square. Good for travelers without a car. Renting a scooter or bike for a day is also available next door to the hotel..

I have been to hotels all over Mexico. This hotel has been the worse. Beds are extremely uncomfortable and you get one blanket and all it is is a sheet! In the AM you can hear roosters and chickens and can smell the horrible smell of the wood burning furnace in the back of the hotel which makes you want to throw up. The shower does not get warm it just gets a notch above cold. In the pictures of this place it didn’t show any of this. This “hotel” is terrible!

The hotel is centrally located and offers free parking. The towels were missing and the bed sheets were stained. For the remote control a deposit must be paid . Of course the bed was hard and the hot water was only in the shower not in the sink. There is also a swimming pool but out of order.

I liked the style of the hotel, moreover the inner court with pool. The room was old-stylish, but spacious, with clean towels, soap. It's in the centre, in a good location, close to everything. However, it is rated for 4* hotel on booking.com, in European range, it would have only 3*. Good price-value ratio. Wi-fi signal was weak, staff didn't speak English, but they were trying to be helpful. There's no elevator, so you'd need to take stairs upstairs for rooms not on groundfloor. Tetszett a hotel stílusa, legfőképpen a belső udvar, medencével.

DON’T GO THERE! We booked this „Hotel“ for one night on our way from Cancun to Merida and received a confirmation which was followed by a deduction from the Credit Card for the two booked rooms. But when the arrived around 22:00 (after a long flight and car journey) we simply were told at the reception, in harsh tone, that our reservation was cancelled by the hotel at 18:00, regardless of the done cc payment! The reception lady arrogantly told us that they were booked out, refused ANY help to find another accommodation, not even the use of their WiFi, but told us smiling that this was our fault and returned to her chair. She also refused to cancel the cc payment. Afterwards she only answered to anything we asked in either English or Spanish: „No hay!“ and acted as the four of us were invisible in front of her desk. A horrible behaviour that neither my friends nor me have ever experienced anywhere in any accommodation before! Due to the holidays no other hotel had a free room, so the only thing that was available (And only through coincidental help from a local) was a camping site during a rainy night. I can only recommend NOT to book this horrible „hotel“!!!

Room is fine, good airconditiom and nice beds. The woman behind the reception, on the other hand, is not. Not welcoming at all, were not allowed to store our luggage for the day either. Also didn't speak english.

Me and my boyfriend rented two bicycles at Hotel Zaci for a day (180 pesos together) and it was a incredible fail! Both bycicles were completely wrecked. I had a flat tyre after half an hour on our way to the cenotes and we had to walked all the way back. We wanted to get our money back but first of all the lady on the reception couldn‘t talk english and second of all she refused to give us any money. We tried it on the next day again and got half of the price back. Never ever again!

The only good thing about Hotel Zaci is the pool and its location close to the ADO bus station - if you're planning on taking a bus. The prices are misleading. The website quoted $33 but when we arrived 19% tax was slapped on which brought the price up to $40 per night. Before we went to the hotel I sent two emails and made multiple phone calls but never got a response. The woman on reception was one of the most unhelpful, unwelcoming and unfriendly receptionists I have ever encountered. Breakfast was not included in the price. The hotel did not provide the option of buying breakfast on the premises during our stay nor did they make any suggestions as to where we might get breakfast. The room was dank, dark and airless. The fan did not work properly. The curtains did not close fully. The AC looked about 40 years old. There was no hot water during our stay. Definitely not worth $40 and I definitely would not stay here again.
