So we decided to spend a day and night in Valladolid. We took a non stop bus (ADO) from cancun, 2 hours, to Valladolid. The bus was definitely a 1 st class bus and cost about $14 each way. We got off the bus and felt a bit nervous. didn't quite know where to go and we don't speak Spanish.... More

This small hotel is quite pretty, the staff very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast on the patio was excellent. The hotel is centrally located and includes free parking in their lot. We were sorry to be spending only one night there (and in Valladolid). It is a great place to stay before a visit to Chichen Itza or other... More

We really enjoyed this hotel. It was a couple of minutes, max. to the main square and cathedral. We had a car, and there was free off street parking just next door which was very handy. Our room was fantastic: spotlessly clean, huge bed, loads of space and lovely bath. The hotel was really quite and peaceful, with a very... More

We spent 2 nights in Valladolid. One night we slept at Tia Micha and the next night we slept at their sister house, two doors down, Casa Marlene. The beautiful breakfast is served at this location so you will have to get out and go there in the morning to get it. Due to a little communication breakdown we ended... More

From the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff to the delicious 3 course breakfast, this place is special. You feel it the minute you walk in. We had to made 10 minutes for our room to be ready and while waiting we were offered a local liquor ( Xtabentun) that was delicious. The whole hotel is super clean and from... More

We stayed here for one night on the way from Merida to Tulum. Centrally located with lovely, helpful staff. Breakfast in the garden was wonderful and the room was spacious (and the complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch). Highly recommend.

I found the house, the room Candelaria and the patio really delicious. So is also the young lady who welcomed us at our arrival! One remark: the breakfast, which was definitely tasteful, took unfortunately extremely long and was a little messed up by the staff in charge at that time of the day. We stayed only one night otherwise the... More

We stayed for 3 nights mid-December with my wife and my son and must say had a fantastic time. The hotel as others have mentioned appears ordinary from the front but once entering through the door you enter a beautiful old colonial mansion. The rooms were large, with high ceilings and the bathrooms were spacious. Breakfast was included which included... More

Lovely hotel room accessed through pretty private grounds. The room size was generous and had a sizable spa. A good ample and tasty breakfast was provided next to private garden. The staff were extremely hospitable, attentive, and friendly.

From the moment we were welcomed by Chrystel we felt so pampered! every little thing was taken care of in a matter of seconds. Attention to details for anything. The room was so authentic and beautiful! In the morning we were expected in the garden to enjoy a delicious breakfast, we felt so good, beautiful house, birds, nice people... everything... More
