This is the only hotel I've stayed at in Valladolid. However I have stayed in dozens in Yucatan. San Clemente is owned by the same owners as Santa Lucia and San Juan hotels in Merida. Those two hotels are decent and very similar, but San Clemente is a little better. San Clemente has updated AC (quiet mini splits) and flat... More

Dirty, rundown, moldy, very basic hotel. Poor brekfast. Pool and patio dirty and poorly cleaned and maintained. Rooms dirty with dead cockcroaches, spider webs and the dirtiest, oldest mattresses I've ever seen. Pillows of the cheapest old cotton, so you need at least 2 of them to elevate your head. Ceilings flaking with mold. But modern air condition and flat... More

I wanted to love this hotel that my driver picked for me. The price is hard to beat. For $30 I stayed in a large room. The hotel is not modern, but it is clean, and located directly off the central square. I would heartily recommend this hotel, but my body is aching today after staying on a very hard... More

The location right off the square is great. The hotel has not been updated for years but it has all that is needed. Has a small pool but have never used despite staying there many times through the years. If I want to go swimming, I go to one of the cenotes. The restaurant is slow for breakfast. If you... More

The room was dingy and dirty around the edges but I felt safe and comfy enough for two nights. I noticed a lot of solo men with briefcases leaving in the morning...trucker/business hotel? I really liked Valladolid and loved staying right on the square with a free parking lot. People were friendly and helpful.

No reservations is how I like my Mexico trips, I like to walk around see what area has to offer. Went in to 4 hotels within a block of the downtown square an cathedral, mostly the same styles, simple rooms, old tvs, harder beds, smaller pools. So that being said hotel San clemente had the biggest rooms, bathrooms and pool... More

I really fail to understand why this hotel is rated as a 3-star accommodation...as in my opinion it's really only worth a 2-star, or 2 1/2-star at best. Granted, its location can't be beat as it's right off the main square, right next to the cathedral. Granted also, it has a fair-sized pool and outdoor patio....But...and there are lots of... More

Really nice place to stay. At least, for one or two days. You'll not find here 5-star room, but the atmosphere is wonderful. It situated in the very center of the city, by San Climente church. Too loud air conditioning, not very good bathroom, but inspite of it, I love the place. Beautiful patio, huge parking lot, free wifi. We... More

We arrived by bicycle and found a spacious room in this comfortable hotel for a very reasonable price. It was lovely to sit in the courtyard by the pool for breakfast, and then walk straight out into the busy town square

The room was clean, the pool was clean, the staff was very friendly. Very good parking area, free wifi and a spacious room. The beds were okay. This old building in the centre of the beautiful town of Vallodalid is ideally situated to discover the town on foot. It is a quiet place, despite in the heart of the centre... More
