Hey folks! Tunich Beh was my home for two nights, and I would consider this lovely place a nice pick. The spot is located in a small and quiet side street (by car a little bit tricky to access due to the one way system :-) ), but really a cute place with some hacienda flair. The whole property is... A great little find. Beautiful courtyards with lots of hammocks. The pool is lovely (although loses the sun in the afternoon) and the complimentary breakfast is an added bonus - simple but perfectly adequate and a good place to chat with other guests. The rooms are comfortable and open directly onto the pool. It would have been nice to have... More

We visited Valladolid to get off the beaten path of the Yucatan penninsula - and I would recommend. City is great hop-off point for several cenotes, Chichen Itza, and Ek Balam. Tunich Beh was centrally located, walking distance to square, several restaurants, chocolate shop tour, tequila museum, and Hacienda Venatos. Room was clean, AC good, step right out into pool,... We loved Tunich Beh. The manager/owners son was really friendly and made us very welcome. The rooms were spacious, clean, and all you needed for a nights rest in the beautiful town of Valladolid. Afternoons after a hot day out chilling by the pool in the Hammock with a Cerverza was bliss. The location is fantastic also. Breakfast hit the... More

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice pool, friendly helpful staff, good breakfast. Fairly cheap as well, so really good value. The location was fine as everything is within walking distance in Valladolid, and easy to get out onto the main roads for an early escape to Chichen Itza or Ek Balam. Don't miss cenote X-canche by Ek Balam, it was gorgeous!

From the pleasant breakfasts to the street it's located on, this is a great boutique hotel. There were always staff available and they were always helpful. This may be ideally located for visitors who enjoy walking around to sight-see, it's on a very nice street near many interesting places like the main square, the nunnery, the cenote in Valladolid to... I can find no negatives to describe this boutique hotel. It has great service, comfortable rooms, great location, charm, a wonderful personalized breakfast with omelet, cereals, fruit and juices. It was quiet inside and out on a Monday and Tuesday stay. What I kept saying to myself was, "It isn't all ritzy, but everything...everything...is done right." And Valladolid was a... More

I just spent two nights at Hotel Tunich Beh while visiting Chichen Itza. I chose the hotel because it was located near the bus station and in the center of town. It's only a two block walk to the station which suited me. The price was hard to beat. The employees were friendly and the room was comfortable. The bathroom... More

I love almost everything about this small family-run hotel. The only drawback is that the walls between the bedrooms are not very soundproof. Spacious rooms, a/c and fan, bathroom where everything works, spotlessly clean, nice pool and hammock area, and a delicious individually prepared breakfast make it a steal for a central location. It's much quieter than any of the... More

We had trouble the first night when the manager realized he had not noted our reservation and they were full. He located lodging for us immediately, sent us by cab (paid for) and then advised us that if we wanted to stay the following night, they could accomodate us and we did. We liked the room, bed and it was... More
