Ideal for visiting the ruins at uxmal. Friendly staff.......amd relaxing atmosphere. I would have like complimentary water, at least one bottle per person would be nice. Safes in rooms would be good, I hate going to the lobby everytime I needed money, iPod, computer etc.

There are 2 hotels close to the ruins. The Lodge is the closest hotel (literally across the street). In fact, there are some Mayan ruins in the hotel! At the moment the Lodge is the only hotel open right near the ruins. The sister hotel, the Hacienda, is closed most of time for lack of guests evidently, so if you book there you instead stay at the Lodge, which is an upgrade in location. villa Archeolgica is closed.
