Situated right by the entrance to the Uxmal site you’ll find this luxury lodge a little dream haven. The reception is in a little luxury Palapa outside which looked bizarre but quirky. There are some very nice sculptures dotted around the place which were beautiful. We stayed in room 2G Hunab Ku on the 2nd floor with a large veranda... More

Lovely relaxing hotel with excellent staff. We were treated as special guests and stayed for 4 nights. Uxmal ruins are worth visiting as they are less touristy than others and you can climb and sit and take in the sights in peace and quiet. The nearby chocolate museum is very good value and very interesting.

The Lodge is perfectly located for visiting the Mayan ruins and provides a relaxing spot for a short stay. The veranda outside our room overlooked one of the two pools and the restaurant, providing a nice setting. If you don't have transport you're tied to the Lodge for dining, which was good, and the service was excellent. The Lodge requires... More

I notice this is your sixth review... Your prose does not reflect on the overall grade you gave your stay with us. Please realize that in the heart of this quiet enclave, in the middle of the heaviest traffic in the year, you are going to have activity during the day. A minor disturbance compared with your ability to walk... More

My daughter and I spent a week at the Lodge at Uxmal - and it is a week we will remember. Everything was perfect. Luis made helpful suggestons (ask him about the best guides in Uxmal!) on what to do and see, and prepared one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. He made sure we wanted for nothing.... More

After a 4 hour drive from Cancun we arrived at the Lodge at Uxmal. We were greeted by Luis who ended up assisting us for our stay. The lodge is clean, reception area outside and right across the street from the Ruins. Our room was clean, mosquito net, jacuzzi tub and hammock on the veranda. The restaurant and bar were... More

Thanks for touring the Yucatan with us (Mayaland). Our pools obey new regulations for hotel swimming pools in Europe and Mexico. 3.4 feet deep max. I take due note on the mosquito nets. All our second level rooms (with thatch roofs) have them. Your comment will make me make them available on all rooms. Thank You ! We hope to... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of the Yucatan Explorer tour superior upgrade. It was excellent. The hotel is next to the entrance of Uxmal. We could see the magicians temple from the hotel. We were able to get on site early before the ocach groups came. Uxmal is not as touristy as Chichen Itza which makes it... More

A brief review. All very good! Seriously, it was. Cannot find anything bad to say. We even had a hammock outside the room on our Veranda (everyone should have their veranda next to the swimming pool). Clean, well run, good service, not to mention the friendly staff (which I must).

The Lodge at Uxmal was our second hotel in a week's tour of the area, and it really was a lovely stay! It is fairly small, we went when it was very quiet and thus we received a very personal service; staff were attentive, the waiting staff were friendly, food was excellent and the hotel was well maintained, clean and...
