My wife and I spent 3 great days at The Lodge At Uxmal. The staff were just wonderful. The accommodations were first class, and the food was delicious. The y prepared a special meal for us next to the small pool, and Pedro did a great flambe. A great place to go... Oh, but I almost forgot to mention... Incredible... More

My lady friend and I spent four nights at the Lodge in late March. I have stayed at the Hacienda Uxmal twice, before the Lodge was built. As always, the Barbachanos have done a superb job with this hotel. We spent time simply lounging around the pool with a book, and also drove the Ruta Puuc to visit Kabah, Labna,... More

The hotel is perfectly located at the entrance of Uxmal. From the swimming pool (2 pools) you can see the temple ! Beautiful rooms, big, really confortable and a huge bath. Friendly staff offering you a welcome drink. The restaurant is beautiful and really good. I will definitely recommend the Lodge.

We spent a hot but fabulous day at Uxmal....temperature 97. This lodge is right at the grounds at Uxmal. Although we were staying in Merida, We spent all afternoon there in the pool, eating and drinking. A jungle paradise. We were greeted by a fabulous host, Luis Felippe, greeted us as if we were his personal guest. He was attentive... More

What a restful friendly hotel the lodge at Uxmal is, with fabulous rooms which were spotless. The pools are fab. We chose the hotel as it was small and we were not disappointed. The setting is great and as our main reason was to visit the Mayan site it could not have been better located. We decided to also have... More

We didn't stay at the lodge but drove to Uxmal from Merida and then headed to Chichen Itza after touring the site. At the Lodge had a coffee before the tour and then lunch afterwards. Very easy stroll from the carpark to pleasant outdoor or canopied tables. Good semi-Mayan food. Completely opposite experience to the horrors of the area surrounding... More

While the stunning Uxmal ruins are not exactly "nowhere," one is still a bit surprised to come upon the palmy green jungle grounds of the Lodge after a long drive through fairly scrubby flatlands. We had a very large comfortable room facing one of two big, beautifully designed pools. We went to the Uxmal park (a couple of hundred feet... More

On a bit of a whim, we decided to travel from Puerto Aventuras to view the Uxmal ruins. Realizing the ruins might take a few hours, and the distance from P.A. is significant, we made the decision to stay overnight at The Lodge at Uxmal. I should have bought a lotto ticket because this was one of the luckiest decisions... More

The Lodge at Uxmal is a Mayaland 5-star resort located directly outside the entrance gate to the magnificent ancient ruined city of Uxmal. The service is wonderful - there is nothing the staff will not do for you. Our concierge, Edgar, was most attentive and very informative - by the end of our stay he felt like an old friend.... More

It is a pleasure to have guests like yourself. Truly, your comments bring to mind how really special Uxmal and it's people are. During the many times that I spend training, designing new elements to help our endeavors and enjoying the camaraderie of men like Jorge Mex, how represents the very essence of the dignity of noble maya and mestizo... The Lodge has a very good restaurant and is the closest hotel to the entrance to the ruins. Rooms are comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
