We spent one night there, on the eve of our visit to Uxmal. The welcome was great, we were showed to our room in not time, and a cocktail was brought to our room a few minutes later ! Nice reception ! The hotel feels like it is in the heart of the jungle, it has a special feeling. Our... More

Excellent location in the middle of archeological sights of the Maya ruta puuc. Our favorite activity was the traditional Maya breakfast experience using local ingrediants and Maya cooking techniques. Fun and educational!

The location is good, right next to the archaeological site, but the hotel is over priced relative to other facilities. It was particularly galling to pay over $200 for the room only to be charged $3 a bottle for drinking water. The hotel is somewhat overly oriented to what they perceive to be the tastes and expectations of US clients... More

200 visitors that posted reviews before you disagree with you ! They give us 4.5 stars (of a Max of 5) for value; you gave us 1... You state that we are somewhat oriented to the american clientele, in an indirect, somewhat denigrating manner. We love americans, as we do educated clients from all over the world, a fact evidenced... More

I brought a group to the Lodge back in November 2013 and we had an amazing time (it's taken me a while to post)! First I have to say that due to confusion on my part there was a mix up with the rooms. Marina Ortiz, my liaison, immediately did everything in her power to fix the situation which was... More

My family, who are living a good portion of this summer in Merida, and I on my visit to see them there this week, had the great pleasure of spending a night at the Lodge at Uxmal. What a fantastic property! Everything from check in, with a welcome cocktail, to departure was first rate. The room was very comfortable and... More

Before touring Uxmal temple site we had a rest stop and meal at this lodge. The grounds are lovely with some attention to good ecological practice. Shops include items that are really Mexican, including hand embroideries, and in general a cut above usual. The noon meal was excellent with wide range of choices, including vegan, and despite the upscale ambience... More

We loved the location but because of renovations we were one of very few guests and our chef cooked for us personally - even at our table! I will never forget the food and the wonderful staff. Thank you from David and Tricia.

Stayed here for 2 days to see Mayan sites. Very welcoming, lovely rooms and pool. Location is perfect for Uxmal and the smaller sites at Sayil, Kabak, etc. Loved hearing the jungle noises from our room and was nice to use fan and carefully thought out ventilation rather than having to use the ( very effective) air conditioning. Only suggestion... More

Thank you for visiting Uxmal through our Lodge. We appreciate your comments. I am taking note of your menu suggestion. Perhaps our collaborators failed to show you our local menu on our iPads, showing how each item is prepared, since names alone could not possibly describe the authentic Maya and Yucatecan delicacies we offer.
