You may only choose one item from the card for breakfast, additional plates will costs you 90 pesos extra, this is a negative especially if you are planning to do some activity during the day you need a good and decent breakfast. Breakfast is very limited no big portions and no choice of juice only what's on offer that day... More

Wonderful hosts, delicious food, lovely peaceful location. Fall asleep to an ocean breeze and the sound of the waves in cabanas right on the beach! Wake up and have coffee on your rooftop terrace and laze away the day in a hammock while staring at the sea. Either bike, walk or take a short drive to the many restaurants and... More

This was a very nice place to relax and unwind. The sea breezes were nice and the views very tranquil. There is a ton of sea grass washing ashore, and it's a gift from mother nature, so that may be a drawback to some especially if your not aware of it and expecting post card perfect water to swim in... We truly had a wonderful time in Maya Luna, we even stayed a day longer than planned. The hotel is well kept & the staff is very friendly and attentive. There are four ocean front rooms, or better said, four single standing bungalows with it`s own porch and a very beautiful roof terrace with a nice breeze, where you can... More

Four days of total relaxation on the beach. Wonderful tranquility. No booming music, just the gentle swish of the waves lapping on the beach and the breeze in the trees. This is a low key place to stay with only four bungalows so no crowds, a few km from Mahahual village center, where you will be made very welcome and... More

We went back with some friends from Cancun to Maya luna hotel in Mahahual. We got a very friendly reception upon arriving and some nice cocktails to recuperate after the tour from Cancun. The rooms/cabaňas where very nice and the service in the restaurant great. Just felt sorry it took me 7 years to return

I spent 10 days at this wonderful hotel in April 2015. I wish I had stayed a full 2 weeks! The Owners Carolien and Jan have established a fabulous, relaxing, and impressive vacation spot. They were extremely helpful in making travel to and from the Hotel to Cancun a hassle free experience. The food is wonderful and of a great... More

When you've traveled as many places as we have, you've had your fair share of the best of the best, and the worst of the worst. With that being said, Maya Luna is by far one of the best places that we have ever stayed. Reservations: Super simple and easy. Just use their web site, send the email to Carolein... More

Our group of nine adults, rented all four bungalows for a week at Maya Luna. I first must mention the gracious hospitality of owners Jan and Carolein along with the entire staff. Fall asleep to the gentle caressing of the ocean breeze and the soft sounds of the waves washing the sandy beach. Each morning we were pleasantly greeted with... More

I have been to Mexico many times in the past years but I have never found a gem like Maya Luna. If you're looking for a place with your own private beach great food, great drinks and a very polite and attentive staff then Maya Luna is your destination. A typical day on the beach at Maya Luna is a... More
