Marcia, her husband, and staff were super accommodating and friendly. The food was great and she will give you great ideas and activities to do in town. The food was fantastic! The rooms are superb and the nicest that I stayed in Mexico. It is right on the beach and the views of the stars and beach can't be beat.... More

We had high expectations and ... were not dissapointed! We spent 4 nights at MBG and it was a great experience. A fantastic location on the beach, away from it all. Marcia and Kim manage MBG and do a wonderfull job and have selected great team of local staff; Marcia knows everything about the immediate surroundings (e.g., where to go... More

I began inquiring about Mayan Beach Garden about a month before our trip. Marcia was incredible about answering all of my questions and offering suggestions about things to do and so on. She even contacted me to find out if we would be dining with them in the evenings, the foods we might enjoy and to give us detailed driving... More

Oh my dear, I am so glad you toughed the potholes to make it here. I've shared this with Kim and he wanted you to know that he said he would personally get up extra early in the morning to patch the holes in the road (that is before he goes to Chiapas to pick and roast the coffee and... More

This was our second stay at the Mayan Beach Garden Inn and it was even better the second time. In fact, it was so good, we had a hard time leaving to go see other sites. We did go into Chetumal and explored for a day, and we then hurried back to this paradise. We stayed a week, the food... More

We loved having you visit here - it is such a treat to have our guests return over and over again. I have a new thing for you to do next time. There is now a Manatee tour. Unfortunately, you can't snorkel with it, but you get pretty close. Email me and I'll give you more information on it. And... More

Wow. It went by much to quickly I wish I'd stayed longer. Whats not to love about your eco friendly world. The food prepared was out of this world, dont bother going out and of course you company is like the cherry on top of the ice cream. Loved our conversation and getting to know you better. Hint-Go during the... More

"Out of this world" is something that all cooks aspire too. I will make sure Fabiola knows you said this. I just hope it translates well into Spanish! I know your goal is to someday have a place of your own and join us in Paradise. Thanks for the conversation and historical insights into MesoAmerica. We will ponder your advise... More

I really hate to give Mayan Beach Gardens a great rating only because it could encourage more visitors. When you are here you feel like this is "your" place. They only have 7 rooms and even when it is full there is never a crowd. It takes a drive to get there but in our opinion it is definitely worth... More

Thank you so much for finding us here. Especially after so many years vacationing on the beach in Mexico, it means a lot to hear from you that it is worth it. We had some windy days earlier in the week, but its now calming down again and guests went out the other day and saw everything - Turtles, Eagle... More

We spent a week at the Mayan beach Garden and loved it. If you are looking for a remote place with great people and great food than this is it. yes, the beach was full of plastic at times (depending on the currents), which is disturbing, but that is how it is at all very remote beaches I have visited... Your intelligent son was a pleasure to have visit us and as well two wonderful parents. Thank you for mentioning refuse, reuse, and recycle in your mentioning of plastic. I think when you were here I was still ruminating over my 2014 item I was going to refuse and I've since decided it is Styrofoam. I hate it when it... More

The Hotel is wonderfull, you really feel like home. The food is excellent, the view, the rooms, the beach. We have a really nice vacactions. Marcia and Kim are very kind, they let us spend the days with our children even when it´s an only adults hotel. They made good recommendations. The location is great if you don´t want to... More

We were so happy you came to our hotel during Semana Santa. I'm sorry you had to leave early. I would like to make one clarification, we do allow children during the months of May through November when we are less crowded and there are fewer people and therefore more space for them to run around and play. Your family... More
