It is located maybe 500ft from the area where you want to be most of the time when you are visiting Mahahual. It does not have its own beach club, but has an alliance with hotel El Fuerte and you can lounge in their facilities all day. Overall it is very good value for your money, but then again you... More

This is an excellent hotel. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and functional. Unlike some places in the region, everything advertised is in-place and works. Wifi, cable, A/C, hot water, etc, etc. The staff is very friendly, helpful and competent. Great location right on the promenade. Very reasonable pricing. Enjoy.

Was taken aback at first when arriving into Mahahaul, it was pretty much closed up as there were no cruise ships. That changed the next day and stores opened, restaurants were busy and the beach went from dead to bustling. Mahahual over all was a nice little place, but really nothing to do other than eat drink and sit on... More

Such a comfortable space, clean and modern with a nice bed, solid building, safe, excellent helpful staff. LOVED our stay! When we return to Mahahual this will be our first choice to stay. Rooms are immaculate, have ac, free wifi, and ATM on site that works more often than rest in town (3 others) don't count on it, bring cash.

Mahahual was a big disappointment and we only stayed one night. El Hotelito, howeve, is a sweet little place, the rooms on the top floor have a nice view of the town and all the horrible cruise ship tourists that invade this place every morning. The staff at Hotelito are sweet, the rooms have Sky TV and guests have access... More

Don't miss the wall of iguanas beside the parking area. Staff is delightful. 2nd tier location with great views. Lots of steps! No towel rack, shower sprays out into the bathroom, shower was hot but vascillated from soft to hard constantly, no bedside reading light. Small complaints given the overall experience. We have stayed here before and wouldn't hesitate to... More

Nice little hotel, next to the beach. The rooms were very clean, the staff helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is included in the price! We got a room for 3 persons at 600 and 700 pesos. From the hotel, you are 5 minutes away from beach bars and restaurants. A very nice place to stay in Mahahual.

We came here to stay a night and ended up staying two nights, because it was so lovely. It's a simple little hotel but clean, modern and relaxed. Matteo the owner (?) couldn't be more helpful, giving us directions to best places in and out of the town. You're close to the beach and can use the facilities of a... More

Clean, air conditioned, right on the beach and very close to great restaurants. You can go snorkeling right across the street. The staff is very helpful, breakfast is provided too as well as wifi available in your room.
