Been to Majahual several times but always stayed "out". This hotel had great beds, hot showers with pressure, was immaculately clean, and its own private beach in the center of town that protected us even during cruise ship crows. What's not to like? Tina the owner went above and beyond helping my wife who arrived not feeling well. Avoid the... More

Had a wonderful two nights at Hotel Caballo Blanco, owned by Tina, a terrific resource for restaurants, tours, massages, and any other needs you might have. Perfect location right on the malecon, with some rooms facing the peaceful ocean setting.

I think my original plan was to stay for 10 days and I ended up staying from Oct 3 - Oct 27! I can't say enough about "my home away from home". The negative reviews are obviously from people who haven't travelled outside of a major metro with a Ritz or other high end CHAIN hotel. If that's what you... More

Please don't think that I've never stayed in a questionable hotel before. I've traveled to many places in Mexico for many years to avoid a questionable hotel room. But my husband booked this hotel, prepaid, based on what he saw online. I usually never suggest a place that I have not investigated through Trip Advisor. So when my husband told... More

I can't help but wonder if in fact you did not enjoy my hotel or the main problem was your husband chose my hotel and you didn't . My hotel is exactly as described on my web page. We are a beach front hotel, so obviously if you were looking for us on a back street you couldn't find us.... More

Just got back from a few days in Mahahual. With no accommodation booked I rolled into town and decided to take my chances on getting a hotel upon arrival. Boy did I luck out. El Caballo Blanco was just perfect for my few days on the Costa Maya. In hindsight I probably picked it for its great location….right on the... More

Recently my wife and I spent the 4th of July weekend in Mahahual, Mexico and had the pleasure of staying at Hotel El Caballo Blanco. The hotel is located right on the beach and the rooms are very comfortable with soft beds and nice linens. Our balcony view was amazing and the hotel has a covered rooftop terrace with Jacuzzi.... My partner and I spent 2 nights here in May 2014. Bathroom looks newly renovated but it's tiny. Hard surfaces of room were clean, but linens and furniture less so. We had to remove our black bed covers and keep them off for the stay because they just weren't clean and fresh. They didn't smell, they just looked worn and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write us your opinion. My favorite part of your review is you stating it's more like a home than a hotel. 99% of my customers come because of that and enjoy it. We have no big chain hotels here as of yet , but I'm sure they're coming. I prefer to stay "homey"... More

This quaint, quiet and VERY clean hotel felt just like home, set in the middle of the incredible beauty of Mahahual and its turquoise and teal blue waters... While being personally taken care of by the hotel´s owner, Tina, who knows what great service means!!, we were able to forget about the cares of the world, work and life in... More

We stayed here last year and I couldn't wait to return. We stayed in the Luxury Suite. The price is very reasonable, very well decorated, very clean and comfortable. My wife and I have been traveling to the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan for 20 years. we have found favorite places that we return to. This will be one of them. The location in Mahahual is perfect.
