8.6 Km from Mahuhal along a very dusty road lies Kabah-na, the 8.6KM journey takes around 20-30 mins in a hire car. The locals go a lot faster as they do not have Hire Car Excess to worry about. Our journey from Cancun airport took around 4 hrs in total and well worth the trip. Kabah-na has a few bungalows... More

In a little place of paradise, we've met our dive masters, Luis and Luciana. As beginners, we were looking for a personal and appropriate course, in complete safety and trust, and in a place where nature préservation is a priority. That was perfect for us. At the beginning we were supposed to stay 2 nights and finally we have spent... More

We decided to go "Off the Grid" and meander to the Southern part of the Yucatan and visit Mahahual. While the town offers very little other than my absolute FAVORITE of Churros, it IS quite quaint and worth a few minutes out of your day. The REAL Gem is Kabah-na Eco Resort, 9.8 Km to the South of town down... More

Wow, just wow! First of all, the place is amazing. It has got a great beach, nice comfy cabañas and friendly stuff. Secondly when we arrived there in the high season between Christmas and New Year, due to some problem with booking.com the room we had made a reservation was already taken. So the owner apologised a hundred times and... More

When your travels take you to the southern portion of the yucatan peninsula you will want to include Kabahna Eco Resort in your itinerary. It is a piece of paradise right on the beach. Clean simple cabanas with all the creature comforts you need; breakfast with juice, bread and a healthy fruit plate; sailing; kayaks; snorkeling, swaying in a hammock.... More

Wonderful and fun people are the owners, who also are your concierge and cook! beautiful rustic cabanas, right on the beach, with conch shell showers! Marcos is an exceptional cook and we enjoyed red snapper baked in a salt crust, home-made pizza and breads and fresh home-made pastas! Ricardo, the host, makes you feel so relaxed and accommodates your every... More

Getting to Kabah-na Resort is like driving to an Island. the access road is being upgraded which is good and once you arrive you do not want nor need to leave to go anywhere else. The staff work hard to make its area as clean and beautiful as they can. The food is amazing cooked to order; Luis the activities... More

Heaven on earth! But maybe not for everyone. Because if you need all facilities possible to have the perfect vacation - well then maybe this is not for you. But if you want to be close to nature, away from all tourists and can cope with a hotel that is a little "rough around the edges" then maybe also you... More

Our family of four recently spent two nights at Kabah Nah. We liked the solitude of the beach away from crowds. The idea of an Eco-friendly place is great;however, we would have liked to shower with enough water to rinse the shampoo out of our hair. It was also difficult to only have salt water in the shower or faucet.... More

Richardtr, Proprietario at Kabah-na Eco Resort, responded to this review

Kabah-na Eco Resort is an ecological resort situated in a wonderful natural place, were there are actually no Public Services (water, electricity). We produce energy trough solar panels and generator, to give to the cabanas 24 h light and water. Water is pumped from wells and is a little salty. Obviously water is filtered and disinfected. In this situation there... More

Hey hey! Well, I actually did not sleep in this place, but I did three dives with the local Dive masters Luis and Lucianna, including a small refresh training because I didn't do SCUBA diving a long time. So, I only judge the location and the quality of the service provided for the diving. The spot is located on a... More
