In my cabain: falling apart and dirty bed. Bed nets, windows and door's screens had holes. Mosquitos came inside of the room and was imposible to sleep. Beach very dirty because of the sargazo (aquatic plants) and garbage and impossible to swim. There is not beach shore for walking . Far from the Mahahual town If you like to have... More

We choose this place because this place belongs to a friends and we trust in them, that was our very first visit to Kabah-Na Eco Resort near to Mahahual, Quintana Roo, the place isn't easy to reach if you like the extreme adventure go for it, the public transport has very bad service they don't respect the places they have... We spent 8 days in this wonderful place and enjoyed every moment of it. From relaxing on the beach with one of Antonio's great shakes, to discovering the coral reef with wonderful Luciana. The cabins were very unique and romantic, great fresh breakfast, and the pastas and risottos were excellent and very recommended. Canoes are available all day which is... More

We spent six nights at Kabah-na and we really appreciated the complete friendliness of Renato, Marta, and Marcos--who prepared great food and generally were super friendly. Whenever we needed something (transportation to Bacalar, an extra towel, etc.) we were completely attended to. Renato and Marta, in particular, really worked hard to make our stay a good one. Marcos cooks surprisingly... More

We booked two trips with Luis and Luciana- an afternoon of snorkeling and a day of kayaking at Bacalar. These two are amazing. Worked with us to determine what activities would meet our interest and physical needs (we are active but over 60). Luis is extremely knowledgable about coral, coral fish, indigenous plant life, local birds, wild life, etc. Although... More

8.6 Km from Mahuhal along a very dusty road lies Kabah-na, the 8.6KM journey takes around 20-30 mins in a hire car. The locals go a lot faster as they do not have Hire Car Excess to worry about. Our journey from Cancun airport took around 4 hrs in total and well worth the trip. Kabah-na has a few bungalows... More

In a little place of paradise, we've met our dive masters, Luis and Luciana. As beginners, we were looking for a personal and appropriate course, in complete safety and trust, and in a place where nature préservation is a priority. That was perfect for us. At the beginning we were supposed to stay 2 nights and finally we have spent... More

We decided to go "Off the Grid" and meander to the Southern part of the Yucatan and visit Mahahual. While the town offers very little other than my absolute FAVORITE of Churros, it IS quite quaint and worth a few minutes out of your day. The REAL Gem is Kabah-na Eco Resort, 9.8 Km to the South of town down... More
