We stayed in room 1315 in the second week of October. It was a long coach journey from the airport (well over an hour) however the thomas cook coach was air conditioned and comfortable and quite enjoyed watching dozens of turkey vultures soaring above the countryside on the way. On arrival we were greeted with cocktails and our bags were... More

This hotel is BIG. If you are unfit, have mobility issues or just plain lazy; don't think about coming here for a break without reading more about the resort. Unless you get a room near to the main restaurants and hotel reception, a good deal of walking is involved going to eat, the beach, bars and entertainment. Plan in advance,... More

This was my family’s 3rd visit to Grand Sirenis, for the 3rd year in a row. We go the beginning of November each year to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. After year #1, we signed up for the VIP program (for returning guests), it was free and comes with a few perks – and who doesn’t love a perk?! This year... More

We can not say enough good things about our holiday. We went with my brother and his wife who were premium members and the staff was excellent and very friendly. I am a senior and have trouble walking with a bad knee. The shuttle service was excellent.... Thank you for finding my Pak that had my passports in it intact!... More

We went via Air Canada Vacations. Best Day met us at the airport, and the drive was about an hour and a half. Bus on departure was bang on schedule. We were there for a wedding----the'chaplain' read the names about two minutes before the service and continually got the grooms name wrong. Apparently the Wedding Planner didnt speak much English... Stayed the week of November 6th, as it was our 8th trip to Mexico we had a pretty good idea what we were headed to at the Grand Sirenis - beautiful beaches, snorkelling- hand feeding colorful fish 20 yards from shore, more food and drink than our bodies could handle at this all-inclusive resort. As we are a family of... More

The best thing about this place is the snorkelling. Saw turtles, lots of fish and a stingray just from snorkelling from the beach at the resort. Food was a huge disappointment! Be careful what you eat--saw the chef at the raw meat station handling raw chicken with the same tongs he used to give someone cooked beef. The a-la-carte places... More
