I need to preface this review with the fact that a 5 star All Inclusive is rated differently than a 5 star hotel. In reading some of the prior reviews, some people seemed to confuse the two separate categories. You definitely can not expect to get the same quality of service at an all inclusive that you would recieve at... more

Honest Review! I would say that if you want the best service, then go to the coba because the staff here were brilliant! We didnt mind the bus buggy to the beach at all as its only minutes and they run constantly. To be honest i was disapointed with the beach, the only exotic place i have been was Dominican... more

My wife and I spent the week of June 29th to July 6th at the Coba. This was our 1st time to the Mayan Riviera. Having been to Puerto Vallarta a few times we thought we would try something different and landed at the Coba. While we had a great vacation at the Coba we do prefer Puerto Vallarta, however... more

Just returned from the GBP Coba 23 June - 7th July 2008. We flew in from Glasgow & everyone from our flight was put into the Coba, talking to other people in the resort it seems like the Newcastle & Manchester flight gets put in the Tulum area. Our flight was around 40 mins late and the due to cabin... more

My husband our little girl and I stayed at the Coba from the 26th June to 10th July 2008. Our room was a good size and the bed was huge, big enough for me hubby and babe and all the bed bugs that buffeted on us! Our toilet had a few visiting cockroaches, and the shower curtain was mouldy and... more

The hotel was pleasant overall - giving it a 4 star rating. I was in the 25b villa, and it took about 5 mins to walk to the beach (through the Akumal lobby) - it takes much longer with the carts. The room was good, and cleaned regularly. The bar was stocked every 2 days with beer, water, snacks, juice,... more

We stayed at the Coba from June 21-28, 2008. This is our second time to Mayan Riviera. We flew in a week earlier and stayed at the Grand Sunset Princess and took a cab over to the Bahia. The resort is massive. There are three complexes, the Akumul, Tulum and Coba. You can visit all three complexes and have dinner... more

My husband & I stayed at Coba June 22 - 29 for our anniversary. We chose to stay at Coba since we stayed at Bahia Ambar in Dominican Republic in March and had an extraordinary experience. We found the quality of service & cleanliness at Coba to be just as great. The property is huge (3 sections: Coba, Akumal, Tulum),... more
