We stayed for 2 nights after a traveling around the Yucatan peninsula. A great way to end the trip. The facilities are tastefully decorated, comfortable and take advantage of the natural beauty of the area. We enjoyed walking on the beach and walking around all of the marked turtle nests. A continental breakfast was included in the open air restaurant... More

If you are not into crowds or resorts, this hotel is nice yet small and located right on a beach where sea turtles nest. We brought our large family and enjoyed the very spacious 3 bedroom suite. The ocean view and lawn/pool space outside our room was delightful. Every night we watched in awe as enormous turtles came out of... More

The view from our 2nd floor one bedroom villa took our breath away when we arrived. We had a gorgeous view and spent most of our time chilling on the huge balcony in our hammock chairs. The villa was spacious and very clean. We didn't take full advantage of the fully equipped kitchen but it was still handy to have... More

Very nice little place on the Riviera Maya to just kick back and relax! We stayed at the Villa de Rosa right on the beach and found the view from the balcony to be breathtaking. Our friends were here to go diving and we were here just to hang out, but we all had a blast. The girl who worked... More

We spent 6 nights in a 2 bedroom, ground level, ocean view room. Our patio overlooked the pool, so we could sit in the shade and watch our kids splash around and play with the other kids who were staying at the resort. The beach is a bit rocky, but our kids loved the tidal pools, and could still play... More

This was my family's fourth time on the Mayan Riviera, and this is the first place we've stayed that I've really felt I'd want to go back to. The property is about 24 apartments on three levels (one level being sous-sol). The apartments on the upper two levels are spacious and bright with beautiful views of the garden and ocean.... More

Stayed in Las Villas Akumal from 3/4/15 - 3/11/15 and it was excellent! Always stayed in an all-inclusive and decided to change it up. Booked a 1 bedroom villa ocean view but they only have 2 bedroom ocean views, they usually lock the 2nd bedroom so you cannot use it. Location was unreal…ocean view, pool and ocean right outside our... More

Had a two night stay in ground floor corner villa 001. The apartment was really well stocked, comfortable and super clean. Pool and garden areas are lovely with steps to the beach. Erasmo was very friendly & helpful serving delicious drinks by the pool and in the restaurant. Breakfast choices are sparse & don't match up to the price of... More

Villas Akumal is a lovely beach front hotel with apartment style accommodation. We were only staying for 2 nights, but our spacious apartment had everything we needed. Listening to the sea whilst drifting off to sleep was just lovely. The location is about a 25 minute drive or taxi ride from Tulum where the Mayan ruins are and a large... More

Las Villas Akumal is a great place to escape the hustle of Playa or Cancun. Akumal is a short mile away. You can snorkel right off the beach. The views are wonderful. We have stayed there 3 times. They have snorkeling gear that you can borrow. The turtle and sting rays are common sightings in the first bay as you... More
