A year ago, I wrote a review entitled "My problem with Imanta". The note was tongue in cheek, written to convey that not a single thing was wrong. Unfortunately, a year later, I can no longer make such a claim. While the property is as stunning as ever, and the rooms are amongst the finest in the world, the service... More

My wife and I spent two nights here, and loved everything about this place. I normally don't do reviews but we benefitted from others who posted here, so I'll do the same hoping it helps someone else. I'll start w the only negative: getting there from the airport. The drive is actually easy, but Google directions are awful. In fact,... More

This was the ultimate escape. The rooms are large, simple but beautifully designed and fitted out, and the service is impeccable. I loved this place - my cell phone didn't connect in most places meaning I really did get to switch off, but there is wifi available all over the property meaning you're not totally disconnected. The setting is unbelievable!... More

Spent a week there with my family durning the December holidays. The first two days you kind of get a bit bored as you are trully unconected from the world. Neverthelless your head catches up with everything around you and you trully start to enjoy this amazing boutique hotel that has a private beach. You can always hear the ocean... More

Imanta was just the most amazing hotel ever! It is located in the most beautiful setting in the jungle between the mountains and the ocean which could not be a better backdrop for such a great hotel. I went here for a honeymoon and my husband and I decided we could describe Imanta in three ways. First, it is the... More

Imanta required an excessive $6,500 deposit for a 5 night stay in off season (late Sept). As it turns out, there were 2 hurricanes in Mexico (Norbert & Odile) and other bad storms in mid Sept, so my Fiancée' and I decided to not take a chance with our Honeymoon and to go to Hawaii instead. We gave them ample... More

Service, restaurant, place, cleanliness... There is nothing more to say than admit this place is a paradise on earth. Either for a gastronomic romantic diner or a perfect day at the perfect beach. I will definitely go back

We recently took a 3-night jaunt to Imanta when we discovered that we had the coverage to do a childless getaway. I was looking for something totally relaxing, quite, and pampering and Imanta fit the bill. I found it by searching the Relais & Chateaux website, an organization whose seal of approval has never let me down. The resort is... More

My wife and I returned to Imanta for our second visit in May 2014 (our first visit was December 2013) and had an absolutely exceptional experience. The resort is a small with something like a total of 12 villas and they are built into the jungle in a way that makes them blend wonderfully into the landscape. The property is... More
