I tried to find the best option to stay and live the experience in Alamos. I was hesitating my decision, but as soon as I arrived to Hotel Colonial, I was absolutely amazed to what my eyes were seeing. You can feel the love and how their owners care about this amazing hotel, beautiful everything!!: garden, rooms, courtyard, terrace. I... More

The Hotel Colonial was an incredible experience for our first visit to Alamos, and the owners, Kelly,Janet along with the staff were very friendly and gracious hosts. The rooms were comfortable & spacious and the entire property included numerous gathering areas. The rooftop was perfect for evening sunsets and the interior courtyard was like sitting in a lush garden. Location... More

We happened upon this wonderful hotel by accident, rolling into Alamos on our motorcycles with no pre-planned accommodations. What a find! The place is stunningly beautiful and the hosts are extraordinarily welcoming. The grounds are amazing, with secure parking for motorcycles. Each room is different, and all are luxurious and well appointed. The beds are fantastic. Each shower has its... More

We loved the Colonial Hotel and Alamos! Janet and Kelly are gracious and friendly hosts who were excited to share the hotel and grounds they created and their knowledge of Alamos. Go for a stroll through this historic colonial town and stop for an ice cream in the square beneath the cathedral's majestic bell tower. Return to the Colonial and... More

Beautifully restored with convenience of 21st century in a 19th century building. Rooftop terrace is a wonderful spot to relax after a day exploring a colonial era Mexican city. Staff and owners made us very comfortable and most welcome. Day of the Dead in Mexico is a true "bucket list" experience.

It was like travel in time to colonial Mexico, you will have a great breakfast, the hosts are really nice, and you can spend a perfect night in the terrace with some wine. It was a great experience that I highly recomend.

My husband and myself traveled by bus from Guaymas to Los Alamos in April of this year. We reserved our room at the Hotel Colonial and were so pleased at the warm welcome we received, even though we arrived later than expected. Our room was spacious and well appointed, the courtyard very lovely. The location of the hotel is excellent... More

Adventurous drive to an oasis. Alamos is a jewel and Colonial is their diamond. Peaceful, tranquil, warm and embracing and the greatest hosts. Hard to find old world charm and elegance with new world comforts....a place to spoil one's self.

Kelley is an incredible proprietor and took incredible care of two private pilots who needed a hotel for 3 nights while their passengers went hunting. I'd never dispatched a trip to Obregon, so I was worried about booking hotels but Kelley immediately put me at ease ensuring my pilots would be well taken care of and picked up from the... More
