I´m really amazed of Mision Refugio del Salto Hotel!! This is one of the best places I´ve ever known in my life! It has the best views and incredible sights, in the middle of the nature, the waterfall of Salto is just incredible, amazing!!! The whole team that attends, the quality of the products and the service in each area... More

We stayed over a weekend with all the family. We booked two rooms and two cabinets. The two rooms inside the main building are brand new. The cabinets are ok not the newest they have. Ask for the new ones before during checkin. Hotel staff is very friendly. The landscape is beautiful and most of the views to the fall... More

We stayed the weekend in this hotel and loved it. The cabins are unique and have a beautiful view to the forest/jungle. The waterfall in the restaurant and bar area is amazing and makes for a nice experience. It can be cold, however their unique fireplaces kept us warm for the night. The pool is alright and hot tubs were... More

We arrived to the hotel early in the morning and the staff gave us our room as soon as we arrived, nice detail. A great waterfall inside the hotel is the great plus, that it is seen from the Spa or the restaurant. The hotel is near downtown but it is 15 min away by car. All cabins have a... More

I love the hotel. Very nice cabins with fire place inside which is very beautiful. There is a cascade that is gorgeous at the restaurant but their service is more than terrible. Awful , I really can't find the right words to deceive how bad it was. It took almost 40 minutes to bring the drinks that may say all.... More

Situated next to a natural waterfall, the place is the perfect romantic get-away. Service is extremely attentive and not tip-beggers. We were upgraded to a Chalet and it was such a cozy spot I'd have loved to stay there for another 4 days. Only inconvenient; it was very, very cold (it's in the middle of the woods, so, it's a... We arrived at the hotel and were informed we had been upgraded to a chalet since they had received a large party and could not accommodate us in the regular rooms. Great. The staff that greeted us were very nice and eager to help. The way the chalets are located is very uncomfortable since the walkways were muddy from all... More

I spent a weekend in this beautiful place. Is located near downtown of Valle del Bravo. This place is sorrounded with nature is a little piece of heaven on earth. Its too bad that our experience was so bad because the place is beautiful and has great potential. We were freezing during our entire stay. The heater didnt work in our cabin and the first night we asked them to come fix it but they never did. When they finally repaired it two or tree times it still didnt work.... More

Searching for hotels in Valle de Bravo was a little difficult when I first started my hunt. Most of the properties I found online were way beyond my budget and their photos of the hotels didn't even look that great. The only one I DID know of, El Sanctuario, I had heard not-so-great-things. I stumbled upon Mision Refugio through twitter,... More
